Just did a Boston Celtics rebrand. I don't support one team in particular, because I am Irish and have no ties to any of them, but I always liked Boston because they are the 'Celtics', and the whole Irish connection in Boston. One thing that I don't like though is their absolutely dreadful logo, however iconic it is. Because what better way to show off pride in your Irish cultural heritage than by having a giant ****ing leprechaun...right? Haha, well I found a really nice rebrand one online which made me want to do this.

So here is the court, kept it similar. Wasn't sure which arena number corresponds to TD Garden so that's probably wrong as I didn't change it. You can see the new logo:



Now for the jerseys, again based on the concept I found with a few changes. I liked the idea of adding the gold trim and the stripes at the side are designed to be like a celtic knot pattern.

So the away one is essentially the same as the home, but green obviously. I replaced 'Celtics' with 'Boston' as is the case in real life. I wanted to add something actually Irish to the jerseys and I toyed around with a few things. I tried to get a celtic design on the back, which I wanted to look like those nike mesh designs on the college ones, but couldn't get it to look right. So decided to do something more simple, and just add a logo I like. I replaced the shamrock logo ( on the corner) with a logo from the GAA which represents all four provinces.

Have you tried Black font for the numbers and Boston?

I had thought of black with either white or gold trim, never tried it though, might try it when I get a chance!

Reverse of away jersey, I added a skyline silhouette so they can bring Washington with them on the road. I thought something like that would be a nice touch. Probably needs lined up a little better though:
