    FIFA 16 Normal Speed Sliders

    Hello everyone,
    I've been following (and helping) since years the Matt&Orion and OS community sliders but this year I felt that there is something i will never like about the way those sliders play: the SLOW speed. So I decided to create my own set of sliders and sharing this with you all, who knows, maybe somebody will like it too.

    First of all, i want to thank a lot all the work that Matt and Orion and all the other members of OS like Gnemi and Reaper and EvertonianSteeler and Ricardocarneiro have done to make FIFA a better game. All their ideas helped really a lot to create my "perfect" set of sliders to enjoy the game at the fullest


    UPDATE 27/08/2016: With patch 1.07 we came back to default defense settings, they did a nice improvement and it feels good now.
    I recommend to use Full Manual or if you prefer only Semi Assist Pass, Home matches on Word Class and Away Matches on Legenday difficulty.
    I will shortly add a video to show you how this set plays now.


    The Normal Speed Set by Danielz
    15 Mins, World Class/Legendary, Normal Speed.
    Legacy/Tactical Defending
    Full manual.

    Sprint 35/35 Back to 35 because there are more fouls and a bit more phisicality! There is NO jogging animation!
    Acceleration 48/48 - With the update we decreased the acceleration to 48 to give more "weight" and the "realistic feel" to the players and to have the feel that we had before the latest FIFA patches!
    Shot Error 55/55 - Credit to OS community sliders! On 15 min halves plays amazing, otherwise use 53/53
    Pass Error 55/62- Player values lowered to 55 if you play on manual or semi. The CPU will almost always have <90% pass. At 65/65 it felt too easy to play and the CPU was doing silly errors even with technically gi/fted players. 62 works just fine!
    Shot Speed 53/53 - That's my personal preference using manual shooting, i saw that using default 50/50 some shots were like "heavy ball" effect. During real games i often see players kicking the ball with not much effort and the ball travelling at really high speed (an example is coco martina goal in southampton-arsenal during the boxing day).
    Pass Speed 40/32 The fact is that if the CPU pass is lower like 25 the "tiki-taka" effect will increase. A higher pass speed impacts the direct play of the CPU taking more risky passes, a thing that personally I love. The side-effect is that the overall pace of the gme will increase too making it less realistic. For now 32 is the right value and using Sprint at 35 makes the game more phisical and we will see more fouls and we will be able to steal more balls from the CPU! For the User if you use manual pass and don't abuse of the drill pass 40 is great, otherwise with assisted pass use 32 too!
    Injury Frequency 90/90, - Credit to OS community sliders.
    Injury Severity 60/60, - Credit to OS community sliders.
    GK Ability 35/25 With pathc 1.07 we have to lower the Gk abilities, this is still work in progress but it feels fine.
    Marking 50/50, - Back to default since we lowered acc to 4. Personal preference. I saw there is not a lof of ADD and some defenders still give you the time to turn and aim at the goal.
    Run Frequency 01/01 - Credit to Os community sliders. If you play on co-op this feels amazing!!
    Height 50/50, Default slider!
    Length 50/50, - Default slider, feels fine but still work in progress
    Width 50/50, - Before at 60/60 was a bit too easy reaching the goal and all the matches ended with 20+ shots for the user. Now it's a bit harder but the stats are fine and we really feel that we have to take advantage of the few occasions we have to score, especially against top quality clubs!
    Fullbacks 60/60 - With the new 1.07 patch the Fullback overlaps all the time so I lowered it and I found that now they act in a more intelligent way!
    First Touch Error 60/60 - Personal preference. Since using normal speed reduce in general the ADD effect we can still keep 60/60 that combined with low speed pass doesn't make the players miss every stop but not even control every kind of ball. Humanizes the CPU too! If you use 27 for the CPU speed pass you can incease FT to 65


    So in the end the game still feels a bit fast in some moments but that's the closest simulation of the real game that i got comparing it to real matches from premier league, liga espanola and serie A.

    Hi;

    Tried out "Holiday" set from Matt. Sounds nice and still WIP.

    I will give a try on yours set too and post back. Probably this afternoon or tomorrow.

    At this time i'm still using a mix aof auto-semi and manual settings.Will see if it rules XD

      Well as I said before the Slow speed was just unrealistic for me, i mean you can simulate in a really good way the slower parts of a match, like building the game or giving the time to organize to the defense, but there are other parts that felt completely unrelistic, like fast first touch passes or player accelerations to do solo plays! And also most of the premier league matches and some other leagues matches too plays at really high intensity and are really phisical (who saw espanyol-barcelona today? its really hard to simulate that intensity of play with slow speed sliders!)
      And plus using slow speed made the goalkepeers be like superheros and unless i put shot speed at 52-53 and gk at 10-15 (which means that robben with right foot will kick bomb shots everytime and neuer not blocking a single cross or corner which make it pretty unrealistic) i couldn't use anymore finesse shot anymore from outside the box (yes im not a good manual shooter ).

      So my goal was to create a set of sliders that played fast and tried to slower it down! I'm pretty happy with what i got!

Using 51 speed shot makes the gk don't catch strong shots from the distance but at the same time block easy balls and have more reaction! We can now using the finess shot from outside the box! If you are bad manual shooters just like me you can lower CPU GK to 40.
      Marking 54/54, - Personal preference. I saw there is not a lof of ADD and some defenders still give you the time to turn and aim at the goal.
      Run Frequency 35/35, As i told the overall game is already too pacey so lowering the run frequency makes it slow down a bit and we won't see crazy players running everywhere in the pitch.
      Height 62/62, Personal preference. I also like 65/65 as it's used by Matt!
      Length 50/50, - Default slider, feels fine but still work in progress
      Width 60/60, - Makes changing the game a bit harder and creates a bit of spaces between the defenders allowing us to decide if taking a risky through pass or still waiting for a better occasion.

      Tried ur lower sprint speed n acceleration n it feels a little bit somewhat satisfied. However if u can help with first Touch control. Even at 60 for CPU the touches around my edge of box are quick n there is no heavy touch by the opposition. I m playing Portsmouth Cm n agst Notts County they just made quick pass n go n scored agst me. Although GK ability for me is low at 12/12. This is sure to however much I shoot if the direction is not perfect the CPU GK just stops everything. I m tinkering with sprint so that I can enjoy the game more coz CPU pass is just too much tiki taka n that also without any mistakes.

      I must say that I m weak in defending n still playing at world class on manual. Not full manual but semi too in case of shoot n cross. Also pass n shot error for CPU is 70

        Tried out in a few kick off match Manchester vs Leicester.

        Once you are familiar with the normal speed it looks quiet good ; but i have adjusted a few things.
        1st of all the GK --> 45 is (my opinion) far to much. Tried out at 30 and always to many crazy saves.Will go down to 15-20 and try again this eavening.
        Pass error --> playing in semi ; i saw many easy passes terribly missed (on user side; CPU is fine).Will probably lower that to 55 or 50.

        Now about tricking pass speed/pass error : This 2 values are really important for CPU build capacity. CPU calculate all the time if pass will complete or miss. If miss ; he will make an other choise(and some time ; in a rarely dangerous situation; he will miss). It's exactly the same for the First touch.
        At this time i thing that his attack capacity is strong enought even if you have sometime wtf actions.
        If you increase pass error ; CPU will no more be able to make long balls (and of course he will no more make any) ; if you decrease it ; you will have some wtf passes going across the field.
        On the other side ; if you increase pass speed to high ; he will start to tiki taka all the time ; if you lower it ; he will turn around with the ball on his defence....

        Just in order to see if it's still working. If so ; i will make probably a mix of both sets.

          i just tried this set out. i like it. but i've made some changes to the set.

          10min/half, world class, mixture of assisted/semi controls

          sprint: 35/35
          accel: 45/45
          pass speed: 35/27
          gk: 12/12
          width: 70/70
          fullbacks: 0/0

          sprint & accel were reduced as i felt the pace of the game was too fast.

          pass speed allowed my passes to compliment to the speed of the game. cpu passes were varied with short, direct passes and long balls. important thing to notice was that crossing was great with more successful than unsuccessful crosses.

          width was increased as my fb kept going to CB positions and FB was reduced to make sure they didnt always bomb forward leaving my wingers to do the defending.

          i played 2 games repeatedly to check the stats and if play was similar.

          Crystal Palace - Everton
          goals - 1:3
          shots - 7:12
          on target - 3-6
          tackles - 17-12
          fouls - 1-5
          possession - 50:50
          yellow - 1:1
          red - 0:1
          offside - 1:0
          shot accuracy - 42%: 50%
          passing accuracy - 83%: 82%

          i hope this would help. i'll continue to give more stats.
          Playing:
          FC 25
          Level: World Class
          Settings: FUMA, 10min, OS Sliders
          Team: Manchester United

            Tried out a mix of the extreme sliders and yours one.

            Pass erro for user 0 CPU 55
            GK 35/0
            The rest of the sliders like posted in first post.

            Fund that challenging but not unfair.
            Final score win 5-3 (AI had red card at 10min) At half time 2-1

            Possession around 50/50
            Had 3 free kicks during the match.


            Will continue testing out. Perhaps put GK around 15/15
            I use a mix of assisted/semi/manu in WC on fast.Will try out slow speed too.

              Thanks for all the feedback guys! Actually i'm pretty surprised because when i test them the keepers rarely block the shots unless i just aim in their direction! I used to have them at 40 but it felt too easy for me to score and I'm not even a good shooter!

              Anyway I recorded a bit of my last game to show you how they play! Look at my first goal, I've just aimed at the near post and I easily scored with GK at 45. The ball was not even impossible to save, to me looks just real, and look at the second goal how the Gk comes out from the box and miss the clearance, that also looks real! Anyway i'm still going to test it!

                  Will try it.

                  An other thing as concerns for my modification : with pass error at 0 ; there still is enought passes who are intercepted by CPU ; BUT there is no more some dude passes.No more flying passe when you expected a ground pass or so (don't know if i m explicit enought....sorry but english isn't my born language..)

                  So i will start at 30 and higher it 10 by 10 until i find something right.
                  Seted up GK at 12/12 too

                        UPDATE 11/01/2016: It's great to see that also OS Community sliders switched to Normal speed.

                        I've just changed the width slider for all the sets, the reason is that at the end of every match against every kind of team (3 stars or 5 stars) I always ended up having 20+ shots. Now, watching some real matches on tv (especially on serie A) the number of shots is really often between 6 and 15 depending on the team tactic. So I realized that having the width at 60 made a bit too easy reaching the goal because of the holes at the center that the defense created. So I put it back to 50 and guess what? My number of shots has prerry much decreased. Now it's a little bit tougher passing through the defense but it made the game much funnier and challenging!

Using 51 speed shot makes the gk don't catch strong shots from the distance but at the same time block easy balls and have more reaction! We can now using the finess shot from outside the box! If you are bad manual shooters just like me you can lower CPU GK to 40.
                        Marking 54/54, - Personal preference. I saw there is not a lof of ADD and some defenders still give you the time to turn and aim at the goal.
                        Run Frequency 35/35, As i told the overall game is already too pacey so lowering the run frequency makes it slow down a bit and we won't see crazy players running everywhere in the pitch.
                        Height 62/62, Personal preference. I also like 65/65 as it's used by Matt!
                        Length 50/50, - Default slider, feels fine but still work in progress
                        Width 50/50, - Update 11/01 Before at 60/60 was a bit too easy reaching the goal and all the matches ended with 20+ shots for the user. Now it's a bit harder but the stats are fine and we really feel that we have to take advantage of the few occasions we have to score, especially against top quality clubs!
                        Fullbacks 40/40, - With the new 1.05 patch the Fullback overlaps all the time so I lowered it and I found that now they act in a more intelligent way!
                        First Touch Error 60/60 - Personal preference. Since using normal speed reduce in general the ADD effect we can still keep 60/60 that combined with low speed pass doesn't make the players miss every stop but not even control every kind of ball. Humanizes the CPU too! If you use 25 for the CPU speed pass you can incease FT to 65


                        So in the end the game still feels a bit fast in some moments but that's the closest simulation of the real game that i got comparing it to real matches from premier league, liga espanola and serie A.

                        Hi can I just suggest something,

                        I see your passing is at 40/30,I use 36/36 or 35/35 and I personally find them ok for normal speed.I will try your sliders with a few adjustments,have a look at mine focus 59(I am on Xbox 360 though)
