MVP and DPOY Cards

Any idea on when or how these cards will start to be released. 3 months in and I can only assume that interest in this mode is diminishing. *Last year the hype was high due to weekly legit onyx cards. 2K would benefit from releasing these players sooner rather than later to keep interest high. What's the hold up?*

That's just sad if they make these cards. There's no need to have so many different ways to juice money from players..uhh I mean have so many cards/collections.

At least we can speak of legit cards based on real achievments in the past. I rather have those MVP cards like Wilt, Garnett or prime Payton who derserve to be Amethyst or Diamond than joke TBT Luiz Scola. Now that's for sure.

At least we can speak of legit cards based on real achievments in the past. I rather have those MVP cards like Wilt, Garnett or prime Payton who derserve to be Amethyst or Diamond than joke TBT Luiz Scola. Now that's for sure.

The ROY cards were ok, but now there's a pack for no reason. 6th Man now MVP and DPOY really 2k that's just robbery and you know it. MVPs are ok as you should get a player with his best ratings to reflect his season numbers or whatever. I knew it was a joke when they started selling regular historic cards as FBFs in packs. WTF 2K, WTF

no one is forcing anyone to buy useless packs like 6th man, so how can you speak of robbery here? robbery for me is if you open like 500 TBT packs and still don't see any purple glaze at all. 2K

I'm looking at these "DPOY" cards that are coming out this friday on 2kmtcentral and I see no new "content" Literally every card on these packs have similar versions out already so why would anybody spend money on these packs, if there is a similar version out already. They barely upgraded anything on these "new" cards besides the amethyst KG. Knowing 2k, they're not going to juice the pack odds, just look at the 6th man packs, your just going to be pulling current day 70 ovr free agents again. Only positive from these packs is that they'll drive down the prices of the hakeem, paytons, drobs, etc that are already out.

the stats are not updated, thats why they copy pasted stats of existing cards as place holders. facts.

They have been updated. MJ is a 95 as well as Hakeem

Well, they're still gonna be unpullable unless they crank up the pack odds and even if ppl see the amethyst glow it'll prob be a chris paul. Everybody will prob get mad on Friday that they spent their hard earned money on VC/MT to open packs just to end up with a bunch of 70 ovr free agents.

too bad the mid range of the admiral isn't in the higher 80s like the onyx version of last year. I loved to use him as PF and play pick and pop

The version they have in PNO is awesome, too. Him and Artest are the 2 guys I'm looking forward the most to. If that MJ is affordable I'm gonna have to pick him up, too.
