As far as the drops, I use the 49ers - Anquan Boldin in particular should be able to catch wide open passes and he just wouldn't. It was strange. Not blaming your set at all, just saying it wasn't working for me for some reason.

Your blue set with my 2 tweaks seems to work fairly well for me, though I am starting to see what you mean by putting my catch slider that high.

How would you go about making back ups play differently than their starters? CPU passing accuracy, coverage sliders, pass recognition, etc. Aaron Rodgers was hurt week 4 when I played Green Bay, but Scott Tolzien played so well it didn't seem like it made a difference. Like, 400+ yards. I'm 2-2, and all my games have been close which is great. But in all four games, both sides have put up over 30 points and i'm winning/losing games something like 38-35. Ideally, with a team like the 49ers, I would win games in the low 20's. I worry what will happen when I don't have a quarterback with 70's accuracy. I'll be putting up 40+ per game.
Yeah you can possibly lower the CPUs accuracy or catching down to the red set if you feel like they are torching your D. You'll definitely kill the CPU with the pass with a good QB if you keep the catching at 50. I would try it at 45 if I was you. 50 is way too high.

Started off amazing. 2 great INTs by Rhodes and one off a tip by Blanton into Barr's hands. We also managed to generate a strip sack (GB recovered) as well as a fumble as soon as GB caught a punt. It looked like it was going to be a blowout for us. Then the AI decided it wanted to win, and it destroyed me. I thought I was actually making the right play selections, seeing as every catch the AI made, it was Randy Moss-esque. Whether it be 1 handed in triple coverage, or reaching over the back of my defender, whatever it may be. We couldn't catch a break. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I just can't defend, even when I do it right.

The loss of my #1 WR (Marvin Jones) this game, my starting QB (Bridgewater, last game), and AP in this game extremely hurt. I feel like the game could've went so much more in our favor. Once Jones dropped, we couldn't hold a drive, defense was fatigued, and it showed, so I suppose that's the reason. AP dropped, we couldn't even run the ball (Top 5 in the league), and nobody would hold onto the ball when thrown to. It just all went south.

Also, before switching to green set, I had game scores of..
      Giants (8-6) (L 23-21)
      @ Lions (7-7) (W 20-14)
      @ Bears (3-11) (W 43-16)
      Lions (7-7) (W 33-0)
      Cowboys (8-6) (W 37-27)
      @ Eagles (11-3) (L 48-27)
      @ Texans (7-7) (W 47-17)
      @ Cardinals (9-5) (L 44-19)
      Colts (5-9) (W 30-16)
      Jaguars (2-12) (W 30-11)
      Bears (3-11) (W 34-7)

Games with green set, no adjustments...
      @ Packers (13-1) (L 40-35)
      Saints (9-5) (L 42-28)
      Packers (13-1) (L 45-40)

Last two games of the season are @ Titans (5-8-1) and @ Redskins (5-9)
To make playoffs, we're .5 back of Falcons (8-5-1), but Giants are 8-6 so we would need to win out and Giants and Falcons lose atleast 1 game, Cowboys also 8-6 but we have the tiebreaker.
Yeah the scores a fairly high but I think you are still adjusting to the All-Madden gameplay.

As a recap, I had been using the default blue slider set outside two changes:

1 User catch raised to 50 (from 40)
2 CPU Pass Block raised to 60 (from 50)

As the default roster with the 49ers (I do have Aldon Smith), we played Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Arizona, Green Bay, Baltimore, NY Giants, and Seattle the first 7 weeks. Only significant injury was Aaron Rodgers out for the Packers. I'm only going off memory, as I can't upload screenshots or anything. But some things I noticed:

1 Kaepernick plays like a champ for me. Averaged over 300 yards per game and had like 17 TD, 6 INT. As his ratings are not particularly good, this worries me because I'm thinking to myself "what would happen if I ever got a good quarterback?"

2 I was 4-2, well on my way to 5-2 (I quit the Seattle game by halftime). However, I was not winning those games as I think I "should" have. I was winning the games as if I were New Orleans, winning 38-35 type shoot outs. Again, the 49ers offensive roster is not very strong, which worried me because I am very good at drafting and developing players. I was averaging 35 points per game through week 6. Week 7, I'm playing the Seahawks and somehow I'm up 45-28 at halftime. That's when I stopped because I knew I had to (unfortunately) tweak the sliders and restart my franchise. I know I don't "have" to restart, but I can't stand when everything isn't universal.

3 Even though my defense gave up 30+ points per game, I am fairly happy with that. I'll get better as I upgrade the 49ers average defense, and I play a very aggressive style on defense anyway. I give up a lot of points, but I also rack up a lot of big plays which gives my offense more opportunities with the ball. Still, dropping 45 on Seattle was too much to stomach for me.

With that said, I will now be rolling with the BLACK set with a few tweaks:

1 QB Accuracy raised to 8. I tried the default BLACK set before with accuracy at 5, and I was lucky to get 40% completion. With it at 10, it felt about right but again, I want to make this set in anticipation of eventually having a better quarterback, as Kaepernick has accuracy ratings below 80. I should struggle passing with that type of quarterback. Between lowering the Accuracy slider a bit and dropping the catch rating, hopefully it does the trick.

2 Run Blocking raised to 10. At 0, their DLine was getting too much penetration too quickly. At 15, Mike Davis (74 OVR) was able to get a good 80 yards per game in my pass-happy offense. Again, I want to try and set this up for the future. the 49ers OLine is pretty crappy, so I want to struggle a little more until I get better rated players.

3 Fumbles raised to 10 - simply didn't like how it plays at 0. Kap seemed to fumble every time he scrambled.

4 Kick Accuracy raised to 50 - I'm bad enough at kicking, I don't need the decrease here.

5 Kickoff Power lowered to 60 - Having it at 75 had me kicking it out of the endzone even without maximum power. Phil Dawson has a 92 Kick Power for reference.

Still, your sets are the best on the board, in my humble opinion. I'll let you know how it goes with this set up.
I'm telling you that catching slider has to come down.. CPU barely defends the pass with the catch slider that high.

Fumbles at 0 is frustrating haha. I drafted a mobile QB also. He's very very good I'll have to post his stats. I've been lighting it up with him. But I'm sure he led the league in fumbles all of his years . I really had to invest in my Oline throughout the years
I'm actually making changes to the fumble slider. Raising it to 5 on the black set. It only seems to affect the QB with the slider at 0. WRs, and RBs rarely fumble but the QB does fumble as soon as he's touched.

Horrible, rainy game. Mariota had 9! completions. He started 3/15. We had them shut down most of the game, but every now and then, Madden would decide to let their receivers break 6 tackles (happened twice), and they'd turn a 2-yard throw into a 60+ yard TD. We allowed Rice to have a few big runs, but for the most part, we looked decent, but the offense was horrible. Threw a Pick 6 to end the first half, I may need to look into a new backup and even starting QB. Bridgewater is hurt all the time, and my drafted QB I was originally going to use as a backup is almost a fulltime starter. Bad looking game vs a bad team, I don't want to see how things go if we make playoffs. We had a decent run game the entire game, but a lot of drops and very inaccurate throws. If I had to grade the team, Defense would get a B-, Offense would get a D+.
Well this was definitely the lowest scoring game you been in so far with the green set. Hopefully you'll get a few more games like this.

              Re: Jarodd21s Madden 16 All-Madden Sliders

Looking for any help or advice on these sliders, from anyone willing to help. My main question is with the, "total control passing." 1) You said to get used to using it on every play, pretty much. So, I'm wondering how you use it when the receiver playing on the left, comes inside for a deep dig route. That route, more than any other, for some reason my QB (86 THAS and 84 THAM) will throw it either wide and high, really wide, or just wide and low--so how do you use the Total-Control-Passing on that? Now, I'm not saying I never complete the pass, but I feel like you have perfected the TCP and I most definitely haven't. Do you jam the left analog to the left, so it throws more behind him, as he's running towards the middle...? I would greatly appreciate if you could help me on that and if you could give me some other, "tough" examples as to how you use it in different situations.

Now, for the 2nd question, how are you keeping QB's, ANY QB, from not tearing you up? I play man, I play zone, but for some reason no matter what I do, they carve me up. I know that I KNOW football, but I just really struggle with this. My DB's seem to get beat and to not stay with their man sometimes. I either blitz really hard and get a sack--sometimes--but more often than not, I am getting beat. I just really want to get better so I can start to beat up the boys in my league. Now, they don't use your sliders, BUT they do have very similar sliders. The Human/CPU goes as follows--QB accuracy is 40/45, and the Defensive Coverage is 75/85 and Defensive Reaction is 75/80. Since the defensive sliders are so much different, I know that you can't help specifically as to how you play with your set and I play on theirs, but I was just hoping for any advice--from anyone--to help me from being shredded by CPU QB's. It's frustrating watching not very good QB's throw for around an 80% completion percentage.

Thanks to anyone who helps! It would be much appreciated!

Here's the QB I've been playing with. When I'm not getting EA'd he makes consistent completions. His throw on the run is also very noticeable.
Thought I'd share that WR turned HB I got from free agency. I basically use him like Tavon Austin or Percy Harvin in their college days. He lines up everywhere and is an INSTANT mismatch on Lbs.

Yep, have it back down at 40 now. We will see if that helps without causing massive amount of drops like before

If you still have issues go with 45. 50 is way too high. 40 is on point for me though.

Have you tried going into skill trainer? I heard it gives you a detail break down on how to utilize the left stick for total control passing.

I see you developed that QB over the years. Good attributes.

Hey, I'm looking for a challenging set of sliders to start a franchise. Just come on to all madden and although it starts off challenging I soon steamroll teams toward the middle to end of the season. Which set do u reccomend and is there also a way to stop confidence spiralling out of control so the season remains challenging throughout

I don't know know how good you are using the left stick but it's important with my sliders or else you'll struggle with passes sailing on you. You have to keep the accuracy at 40 if you don't like to usethe left stick on every throw. Since you haven't used my sliders before I recommend starting off with my red or blue sliders first just to get use to the intensity. Don't start off with my black slider. You have to work your way up to that set.

Playing a 5 man online franchise. Using a mix of the blue and black sliders. Couple guys are running no huddle every play and putting up some ridiculous offensive numbers. Is there any adjustments that can help slow this down?

I think il start off with the second difficulty. I haven't really been using the left stick but il give it a try I'm a fast learner and up for the challenge. Can u tell me if the games stay difficult beyond like week 10 and beyond? How far are you guys into your franchise? I don't want to start one and it become to easy after a while. I was just doing one with the jags using another AM set and although it started off a challenge and I had a losing record i soon went on a streak with bortles throwing over 450 yards per game
