One thing I would love to see for each player is a scheme familiarity. So if you have the same coach/player paired together for a few years the rating goes up and the more flawlessly the player runs the offense. A low rating and a player is more often late getting to their spots on the floor or occasionally run to the wrong spot. It would give teams a reason for not making a million trades or shuffle players in and out.

The way I see it they could (understanding that this would be a b**** to implement) do it like they do potential for current players. Just do it with every attribute. Beds could always change it like he does overall potential for some players once they play well. For instance, the knock on MKG coming out was his shot. Well, he hasn't improved it much. Could he become marksman? It's probable. But I would not mind if his shooting "caps" were low.

A ton of the players in the NBA (generally players 25 and older) are already at their max "caps" in terms of their skillset. The only place they stand to improve is in their knowledge of how to play basketball (off & def awareness, etc.). So while it will still be a ton of work to cap out everyone's potentials at least there will only so much work that needs to be done for the everyone except for the young guns of the league.

I'll keep it simple. All my suggestions are for MyLeague Online.

1. Player progression. It could even be a simplified version where they just progress at the end of the year based on their season stats/age. I believe it would really benefit the longevity of the mode.

2. Allow total league customization. By this I mean allow users to customize the number of teams in the league (4 to 30), use created teams, set number of divisions, set playoff structure, even set the number of games that each team plays against each other in the regular season.

3. Limited Offseason. This wouldn't be a full blown offseason, and also wouldn't be designed to be like the "real NBA offseason". Design it for usability with multiple players. Maybe even just have Free Agency and the Draft? Keep it super simple.

I think those 3 changes to MyLeague Online would add a ton of value to the mode. They would allow users to create whatever they want their league to be like. To me, that is the most important part, because every friend group is different.

An expansion mode would be pretty awesome.

There's already all the team customization in place.

distinguish a certain number of cities, and team names that can be said by the announcers for relocated teams. Instead of "the home team..." "the away team..."

I've heard them call my team, "Las Vegas" so there's something there. Maybe its just a starting point.

yea i think las vegas is the only one ive heard, but they will only say the city name still and not the team name, even something generic like rebels...

it could be a start as youre saying, and hopefully it is... i feel its a small detail that would help keep a player immersed in the game for longer, to me it keeps things realistic and would be nice to hear them say the team name youve created. Even if it just started out as the commentators only being able to say idk lets say 10 cities and 10 team names... just something to start.

1. The ability to extend a staff members contract mid season. I feel as if I constantly lose staff members after signing a good one is such a hassle.

2. When offering a free agent a contract a role should be assigned. It happens too often that I sign a player who I think adds to my depth but then complains about not starting and ruins chemistry.

I disagree. I like the cpu generated looks. It's cool seeing the player in an accurate/updated jersey. It also means cpu generated rookies have a look too

D-League. In the next 2 years or so all 30 teams will have one especially if the league decides to do like baseball in terms of draft eligibility like I think it will. Having a D-League team will be critical for player development. And for the ones that don't have one make up one.

My only addition would be what a previous 2K had.

That's start your MyLeague where the current NBA is at in their calendar season. I personally try to make MyLeague similar to what has happened in the actual NBA season.

Hopefully that gets put into 2k17!

I agree: The CPU generated photo is rough and horrid; but actual photos don't update as the player changes teams.

What's better? Use the "action" photo of Olidipo from in-game (change the angle so his face can be seen). Voila: Better looking updated player photo.

2K used to have the after-game photo book: This would be a good use for that module. It could provide infinite action photos that would look like collector cards. Even better: The user could favorite photos for use on the player information card to personalize the game.
