I have only used one e-mail address for Origin, Uplay, etc, and it's the one I used to sign in on EA's site and to sign up for UFC news, and to TRY to gain access to the beta.

Exactly, its a straight cluster **** way of handling this whole thing. Why not just go simple with it with a open beta????I have only used one e-mail address for Origin, Uplay, etc, and it's the one I used to sign in on EA's site and to sign up for UFC news, and to TRY to gain access to the beta.

I honestly dont know. Its not even just an EA thing. Theyve done some closed betas but some open ones too. I think Star Wars was an open beta. So I dont know why this was closed.Last edited by aholbert32; 01-15-2016, 05:15 PM.Comment

Yeah, Star Wars was open beta. It was, ah, not well received, which could have informed their decision on more tightly controlling this one. Also they wanted to stress test online for SW, which isn't as much of a concern on UFC.
It seems to me that maybe they wanted to reward people that played UFC1, but UFC is niche enough for a sports game that unless they really advertised it that'd pretty much be the audience anyway.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Here's the solution I believe, http://bit.ly/1Owefn1
Side question: If i'm reading this correctly, do we only have access to the welterweight division or are all divisions available?Add me on XB1 GT: M Sweeeets

Did all of that, top to bottom. Even re-updated my email address even though I already know it's the same one. Still no e-mail. I know it says it takes a day to update in their system, but I have my doubts that's going to get done before their next cutoff on Sunday at midnight (or in my case, if it will even matter).https://www.easports.com/ufc/news/20...8&sf43885241=1
Everybody who cant log in. Try this link.
If that doesnt work, they are sending out more beta invites next Thursday.
If this doesn't show it's all the same account and that for some reason the system just isn't recognizing my e-mail address, I don't know what does. Connected PSN account and everything right there.

I'll gladly PM this (unblocked, of course) to whoever needs to see it to get this mess sorted out. Thanks for continuing to try and help though aholbert.Comment

Re: EA Sports UFC 2 Closed Beta Launches on January 28
I think there's something missing here.
I opted in on the 8th via the link that everybody wast told to use.
When everything went down yesterday, I checked my contact preferences and there was no "UFC" box to check off. I only saw one on the special page added today for people with difficulty signing up. I would think the "opt-in" should have taken care of that, but clearly it didn't. If they didn't properly update the site to include "UFC" in the contact preferences, that probably ties into this all somehow.Comment
