The end of half thing has been in every EA game that I can remember. No matter what, there is always an underpinning "flow" to each game that I believe helps simulate the ebb and flow of each game. If it weren't for that, every game would feel exactly the same. In-game events like turnovers or penalties can counter some of that, but it is still there and no slider set can "fix" it....which is why I always tell people to play multiple games when judging a set.
