Be a GM waivers

Hey guys...first year playing EA NHL...players are being put on waivers and clearing and I'm not getting a notification to be able to claim them...less than 50 contracts,under the cap...notifications are turned on...am I missing something else? thanks

Are they actually clearing or are other team s claiming them? Lowest teams get first shot at the waiver wire. Depending on your record you may not get the opportunity.

yes they are clearing...they appear on the waiver declarations list but not on the claimed list

I haven't noticed this but seems to be a lack of players on waivers compared to previous games. Will have to keep an eye on the list. Could be a glitch.

Has anyone actually claimed a player off waivers before? How?

I usually see one waiver per 10 days or so. My team is top 10 right now so most get claimed before i see them. Does seem weird though..teams don't waive as much as IRL i find they seem to bring up and send down players that are not waiver eligible or keep the people up. Lots of teams carrying 8 d men

I just claimed a guy today. Just messing around with trades to see how to get Jagr back to PIT. I usually have a full roster so that's why I never got waiver notifications before. Didn't think of that.
