Re: Ruud2You's 2015-16 360 Rosters
I'll post updates on the first slide as I get teams done. And about every other week I'll make a post if something comes up (tests, life, etc.) that will delay progress
For example I have 3 tests and huge assignment Wednesday/Thursday of next week so I won't be working on rosters from Sunday-WednesdayComment

Re: Ruud2You's 2015-16 360 Rosters
I've made incredible progress, it's going faster then I anticipated I have also benefited from a ton of free time and no homework, hopefully I can keep up this pace. I am going to finish up the Independents, hopefully by end the day Saturday. Then I will be MIA on rosters till Thursday, may get one or two teams done.
Anyway just an update. There's one or two teams I have changed the names of (Winston Salem State is now North Carolina Central) and (Centenary is now South Dakota.)
Speaking of Independents, I have flipped flop on a couple of independents and if I should make them other teams as well. I (believe) used Raiders roster base and he had changed NJIT to Omaha and UT-Pan American to North Dakota. I am going to change them back, which sucks cause Omaha is currently first in the Summit, but I guess it is what it is. So NJIT is back as NJIT and UT Pan American is back as UTPA (They went through a name change, they currently play in WAC and now go by UT Rio Grande Valley)
Also Assistant coaches ages don't save for whatever reason, but their skin tone and name does. So just so there are no duplicate coaches down the road I am still naming the head coach + 2 assistants but that probably saves 10-20mns per conference which overall will be about 2-3 hours which is nice.Last edited by Ruud2You; 01-29-2016, 12:14 AM.Comment

Re: Ruud2You's 2015-16 360 Rosters
Yay snow days, with the incoming blizzard to the midwest, my tests have been postponed to next week, so I have been able to start plowing through some teams. I am for the smaller schools focusing on the overalls and if they don't have a picture quickly moving on. I am just cutting as much time as I can.
If we do end up getting the foot, and my classes are canceled for Tues/Wednesday I'd expect to be through the MVC possibly OVC.Comment

Re: Ruud2You's 2015-16 360 Rosters
Will not be working on rosters today-tomorrow Sunday-Monday due to tests. Making incredible process, and will need about 3-4 days of simulating to make sure I have tendencies correct. Did some simulating yesterday and realized tendencies are as valuable as ratings.Comment

Re: Ruud2You's 2015-16 360 Rosters
Awesome man - it's so true. Don't forget about rotations either. I remember I did a sim and the freshman PG (ovr in the 60s) from Villanova played 35 minutes a game while Ryan Arcidiacono (80s) rode the benchCollege Hoops 2k8 (PS3) 2015-2016 roster by bpurc22 and aross
DONATIONS. These rosters take a ton of time. Thank you all!Comment

Re: Ruud2You's 2015-16 360 Rosters
That's definitely something I've been keeping an eye on. I have tried my best to make overalls reflect the actual team IRL but sometimes the ratings boggle my mind so I tend to not pay TOO much attention. When I started simulating and say that Bryant McIntosh was averaging 33 a game, I knew I had to take a harder look at tendencies.
If I do this project next year, I'll put a ton more work into it and make sure the ratings etc all align. However it is nice waiting till now to do this work because I can actually reflect the overalls with the ratings, IE Chase Jeter/Chieck Diallo/Skal etc. were prolly around mid 80s guy preseason now are 75s w/ high pot while Buddy went from mid 80s to best player in game (at least for me, Ben Simmons is an extremely close second btw.)Comment

Re: Ruud2You's 2015-16 360 Rosters
Just another update, I figured I'd keep you guys in the loop. I am going to pound about 12-15 hours worth of rosters over this weekend (Today-Saturday). If you guys would like I can post some of the rosters to see what you all think. I need to go back and make sure the #s are correct, however I may save this step to last and see if it's worth it in the end.
Also I am trying my best to cross check guys to make sure they are still on team, etc. If a guy has not played since November I threw a medical on him.
Also for the BYU church missions I've tried my best to keep guy on team, so I threw medicals on them.
Feel free to disagree w/ roster I am going to try and pump this thing out, so it won't be perfect but I am proud of the work I've put in and I am a willing listener.Comment

Re: Ruud2You's 2015-16 360 Rosters
Here's Iowa. I've done some simulations and Iowa has stayed a top 10 team in them all, still tinkering with the overalls as well. Beginning of March I expect to have a better feel for the ratings and to be done tinkering. Sometimes for guards I don't touch low post-so if it's 70 that's just whatever prior roster had.
Will hold off on showing anymore until I go back through and make reedits and more tinkeringComment
