Make more sense for Brown, but still not really feeling that one either. Hopefully cage attacks are limited to a select few in the game.

Well only a few have them in the beta so I would guess that it will be similar in the retail version.

With that said I would love if only fighters who have done cage moves in real life get them in the game.

With a few exceptions, I completely agree. We haven't seen Sage do a cage maneuver yet, to my knowledge, but he is someone that it would make sense to give him one anyway with his athletic ability. Same for a guy like Aljamain Sterling.

With a few exceptions, I completely agree. We haven't seen Sage do a cage maneuver yet, to my knowledge, but he is someone that it would make sense to give him one anyway with his athletic ability. Same for a guy like Aljamain Sterling.

El Cucuy would make complete sense. It's not really a move that gets used a ton in MMA, honsestly. Just want to see the guys having legit movesets. I think I remember seeing Condit throw out a some sort of cartwheel kick if I'm remembering right. That can go too.

Just fought a guy named theserpentden666 (okay, lol) and I knocked him out in the 4th. Got another hate message calling me an exploiter and telling me that he'll see me in March lol. This guy must've taunted 300 times in the match. **** was ridiculous. I get more venom from random people in UFC games than any other. **** is so funny to me, man.

I love it. It makes me love the ground game even more. I can usually tell when I'm gonna run into one of these guys. They usually pick a top 5 fighter. They usually try to body spam or spam modified strikes.

I just sit back wait and take them down. Then the message comes. "That was some **** ****". "**** u *****". Those messages are like medals to me.

I've never been that mad because of a video game.

Does anyone know how to do the blocking at the perfect moment to parry, i swear it's either not in the beta or i'm doing it wrong.

Slipping is just dodging with the right stick i believe but the block/quick counter seems really hard to pull off.

I've watched lots of videos on the beta and the ground and pound punches really bother me. The guy on top doesn't move his shoulders to generate the power in his punches. It just looks like he's moving his hand back and forwards softly. The guy on the bottom whilst being hit doesn't look or feel as though the punches are strong at all. If you watch Anthony "Rumble" Johnson do it.......

Has anyone fed this back to the dev team?

There is a way to do modifiers on the ground, just like on the feet. By either pressing a direction on the left stick, or holding L1/LB to throw elbows or hammerfists. So the footage you were watching they might not have been doing those things, just hitting the face buttons themselves.

I'll have to look at that more. I though GNP looked alright when you can get some off. Holding the button down will make them load up more as opposed just just tapping it.

Your position matters. If the guy is postured up and he is pressing the modified strike button, his punches will be much stronger. If he is postured down, they will be much less powerful.

I actually like this and it's kinda realistic.

It's great to know there are modifiers to make you load up on GNP shots.

It must have been the people playing the game. But in all the ones I saw, they were using these 'normal' punches and still getting the fight stopped. It just looked really odd because the punches looked far too weak to have done any damage for a stoppage.

But the timing is very forgiving IMO. I think this needs to be tuned -> more difficult. Right now, I see a guy throw 3-4 punches combos to the head and I just hold block and hold the top face button and eventually I'll get a parry off of it. Was the same in EA UFC 1.
