I use 1 jump shot all over again since some months and i got every day some greens from the 3s in the old park but after 34 games i got not one time green WTF ???

I'm only struggling to hit greens via 2v2. I hit greens about 90% of the time prior to getting the new park. Everything now is on the line yellow. I still cash out playing 3v3 but it looks like the difficulty been upped or mids etc. nerfed -

Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)
Late contest on laups matter too much.
Random blocks doing pumpfakes.
Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.Comment

Played 4-5 games of Pro Am last night.. Didn't see a SINGLE green light three pointer from the corner.. None of my teammates did either.. Shooting was definitely tweaked.
Meanwhile you still got people lead passing down the middle of the lane and flat footed dunking like Shaq on 3 opponents and full court Break Starter passes after every missed shot..Comment

OMG I thought it was just me. I played a few pro am games today and I cannot hit a green release from the corner anymore, it's always slightly early or right on the line late. I usually always get greens from corner if I'm wide open. Damn 2k.Comment

I got 99 in shooting, got 500 games in the park and never never got a green perfect release in 3p. Is that cause my player is inside SG?

This isn't just limited to the park, it is in pro am and myteam as well. 2k is at it again with the hidden tweaks to gameplay. The shooting just feels like **** now, to be honest.
This change definately was right around the time they updated the new park for rivet. Since then it is very rare to get a green release, and wide open shots with good releases are bricking constantly.

I like the changes to corner threes in Pro Am.
You can still make them consistently if you're open, you just can't get green releases anymore unless your player has a red ring of rhythm.
That's a good way to handle it since people were probably shooting about 66% from the corners and were getting tons of green releases without even needing a red ring of rhythm before the tweak 2K made.Last edited by jyoung; 02-07-2016, 06:36 PM.Comment

I like your analysis here and can agree with the premise that at least 1 red ring of heat should merit a green release but no rhythm should = no green.
I can side with that system. I'm personally very content with my shooting success in the new park and the success of others (teammates and opponents).
Rhythm definitely seems to be playing a factor because I keep getting at least 1 red ring early and usually finish hot. My shooting hasn't suffered, if anything I feel like I'm shooting best at the new Rivet Park and I'm affiliated with Sunset.

Very possible - you may need to get hot with at least one red ring for being in rhythm. This would at least give you more of a chance for getting a green release on a corner 3.
I have 85 on 3s and I don't use boosts but I don't get greens from the wing 3 unless I'm hot. Being hot gives a boost to shooting attributes. I can get greens frequently however without boosts from the corner and mid range.
You cannot make shots? That seems like a very extreme shift.
I have 85 on 3s... my shooting success has been stable, it may have even improved since this new Park was unveiled. I seem to get hot quicker without scoring but the relationship between being hot and scoring in rhythm is very much correlated.
I been using Kyrie on Quick before and after these reports. Playing in Rivet has always been my favorite Park for shooting albeit I'm affiliated with Sunset. I can confidently say I'm shooting better in the new Park.
It may be time for a new jumper just so you can compare the results.
