Telling people to sell their systems because they don't like the game isn't their opinions. They try to silence anyone with a negative view of the game with passive aggressive posts aimed at either getting them to shut up, or feel stupid for not liking the game.

Back on topic - Ramone almost dropped a hint about a new franchise feature, then changed his mind and said they'd wait for the franchise stream. He did say it was a small thing, but a lot of people have been asking for it for a few years.

What do y'all think they may have been talking about? We have some time until the franchise stream, but it can be fun to speculate in the meantime.

I'm thinking rain delays, or maybe even go as far as rain outs and double headers...

I'm a BIG fan of the new running styles. The idea of making someone who is huge, but Terron Armstead fast is so fun.

One more step in amping this games visual aesthetic. Now when player models get a much needed shot in the arm...

Also wasn't there a physics based tech was added to the engine? Wonder if more will be detailed about how it's improving the game.

I believe Ramone's 'They have been asking for years' nugget was in relation to the uniforms in player editor front screen. The franchise mode sneak peak must have been in a player's card but was held off from showing.

Look at the screenshot of the player card screen near the end of the archived stream. He asked if anybody in the chat saw the new feature....personality.

Now we can speculate between now and March as to what the various personalities are but I think we figured out at least one new franchise feature.

Cant they just make a ripoff WBC like fifa does with Champions League?

Considering how careful they are with legal issues like the style guide, the cows at Turner, and the scoreboards at Wrigley, I would say it is most doubtful.

Anything stats related is major, IMO. Maybe there is something tied to personality that is now built into the player card.

Don't know if it's been pointed out yet but on Encarnacion's player card it listed his career stolen base total. I don't believe that stolen bases have ever been a stat that we could track before.
