Only thing I hope is that my chances of lining to the infield aren't nearly so high. Also, that there's some kind of delay in the defenses reaction speed. Or if I'm the pitcher on the mound in RTTS and there's base runners, can't have runners starting their animation for going back to base the FRAME the ball comes off the bat. That just ain't realistic.

I think it works very well popping up just as the batter is crossing home plate. I have seen real baseball broadcast just like this NESN comes to mind

However I think it can be improved a little bit.

              Please let me explain.

Great post, I completely agree, especially about the full name for the home run hitter...

I also agree they should ditch the second (the one from last year) pop-up about the home run a few seconds after the first one.

some people skip the home run trot, so for those people they'd only see the second pop up. so I don't see any real harm in just leaving it in

If they want to show it for a longer period, or re-display the one banner, thats fine. I'm not against that and I don't think tnixen is either. The concern is that they have two different banners that appear back to back. It looks weird, like different scenes were pieced together separately.

So they showed off Edwin's Edwing and Donaldson's "The 6" HR trots. Who else has a sweet HR trot that we could look forward to. Do Harper or Trout do anything rounding the bases?

The only thing I can think of (and hoping it gets in) is Adam Jones always taps his left forearm twice with his hand as he crosses home plate after a home run.

Pitching looks very boring to me again. However, I am encourage by a lot from that stream.

Maybe someday that animation could be added
Agree. The bat floating by home plate is quite noticeable during the stream, however during gameplay I would think it would be less obvious.

Noticed a few OF throws where the OF had both shoulders facing the direction he was throwing. I've seen this in past iterations of the game as well, wonder if it is part of the "preloading" process and transition animation(s).

I'm curious to know how exactly The Show will have more realistic routes.

Weren't outfielders already fielding the ball too quickly? So what is this accomplishing?
