    New York Yankees Stadium Sounds

What's up guys, I work for the Yankees in their video production department and also work in in-game production for about 95% of their home games. I am an avid MLB The Show player and love the Sounds of the Show function to provide realism. Having said that, I can provide a very detailed list of our custom sounds for everyone. This is mostly based off of our 2015 production save for a few changes that I know that we're making. I will be updating THIS THREAD periodically throughout the year once we start adding new songs for certain situations.

HERE COME THE YANKEES 2016 (Moments when the Yanks are in the dugout about to take the field): Champion Sound by Ill Factor (Note: We will be rotating this with three other songs depending on a few factors, but since you only have one slot, this is the main song we're going to use for the important games.)

TAKE THE FIELD (Plays only when the players are running out of the dugout): Get Low by DJ Snake (Note: Start from the beginning of the first drop)

    MID 5th: The Woo Hoo Song by The 5, 6, 7, 8's
END 6th: YMCA by The Village People
MID 7th: God Bless America by Kate Smith
MID 8th: Cotton-Eyed Joe by Rednex
END OF GAME, REGARDLESS OF OUTCOME: New York, New York by Frank Sinatra
END OF GAME, CLINCH WORLD SERIES: We Are The Champions by Queen

STRIKEOUT: PC Richard & Son Whistle
STOLEN BASE: Modell's Theme Song (Sporting Goods store)
RUN SCORES: I can't for the life of me find out what the song is called, because they've played it for way longer than I've been here, but I'm sure someone could help me out. It's a "tri-bell" chime similar to a doorbell.

    WALK SONGS:
-Walk This Way by Aerosmith/Run DMC
    -007 Golden Eye Theme
    -Jaws Theme
-Walk Like a Man by Frankie Valli
-Boots are Made For Walking by Nancy Sinatra
    -I'm Walkin' by Fats Domino
-Take a Walk by Passion Pit

HOME RUN SONGS (Sorted In Order of Frequency):
-Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who (Right when they say "YEAAAAAAHHHHH"
-Around The World by The Red Hot Chili Peppers
-Whoomp! There it Is by Tag Team
    -Boom by POD

    BIG HIT SONGS:
    -G.D.F.R by Flo-Rida
    -Intoxicated by Martin Solveig
    -Boneless by Steve Aoki
-Addicted to a Memory by Zedd
    -Original Don by Major Lazer
    -Levels by Avicii
-Turn Down For What? by Lil' Jon
-Gangnam Style by PSY... I know.
(We add new songs to this every year, and these are just some of our most used, so you can find any popular EDM song that has a good drop and there's a chance we'll be adding that as well.)

    GREAT DEFENSIVE PLAY SONGS:
-Unbelievable by UMF (It is mostly this one, but sometimes there are others)
-What A Man by Salt n' Peppa
    -All-Star by Smashmouth

DOUBLE PLAY: It Takes Two by Rob Bass

    OPPOSING TEAM ERROR SONGS:
-Give It Away Now by Red Hot Chili Peppers
-It's A Mistake by Men At Work

    OPPOSING TEAM PITCHING CHANGE:
    -SOS by Rihanna
-Hit the Road Jack by Ray Charles
    -Urgent by Foreigner
    -Under Pressure by David Bowie

Let me know if I'm forgetting anything.

      THANK YOU!

This will def help us out. As a fellow Yankees Fan, I always do the Yankees pack first for the OS Sounds of the Show.

Thank you for taking the time to make note of the stadium info and player walk-ups. This will really help us out for the 2016 OS packs. Hopefully there isn't much changes for the 2016 season.

The Yankees pack is usually the best one I make because I even include bleachers creature roll calls, and unique sounds heard in Yankee Stadium.

(Side note: I could've sworn Betances was using Poison by Bell Biv Devoe for the last half of the season)

The Run Scored song is "Workaholic" by 2 Unlimited

Na, Chris Young used poison by bel biv devoe all year last year... Dellins been using we dem boyz for two years now. He tried another song out early in 2015, the name of it is escaping me, but he wasn't as dominant with it. IE he only struck out 10 batters per 9 instead of 20 lmao

Also, I can pretty much guarantee that as far as our "traditions" go, were set. We're 100% going with cotton eye joe next year, were 100% using those songs as our here come the Yankees and take the field songs, and the other inning break songs have been the same for years. The only variable for the stadium sounds are the big hit, walk, nice defensive play, etc. but the main ones are always going to be the ones I listed.

My friend's dad has had season tickets forever. He said they used to play the Liza Minnelli version of New York, New York after losses.

That tradition had stopped by the time I started working here in '10... I assume they changed to strictly Sinatra once they moved to the new stadium.

I think it was back in the 80s or 90s.

Haha, well that definitely makes sense. I'd heard of it before, but nobody in my whole department remembers it actually playing during their time here.

That's been a staple for years, but I assume a lot of other teams do that as well... We play that, along with a number of other songs and sounds to get the crowd going when there's dead time between a ball being fouled away and the pitcher being ready to throw.
