Will 2k ever improve spacing and off ball movement?

It's impossible to consistently run plays, because your guys just get stuck all the time, and when you're freelancing, guys decide to stand right next to each other. Also, the court is too small. I've had so many shots that should be wide open contested by some guy in the paint. I'm not a live fan, but the spacing and off ball movement in live is better than 2ks rn. Imo this is the number one problem with 2k, and has been for a while.

"Also, the court is too small" that's the reason why i didn't buy a next gen!!
I opened my eyes again this year again and i thought people were stupid to buy 2k16 once again while everybody have always wanted a bigger court since a long time.

Thank you guys to buy a bad game!!!

Also the players are way too fast and length account for too much in contests. There's no way my shot should be affected if I'm wide open in the corner and Anthony Davis comes turboing out of the point to try to get a hand up.

This has been a issue forever and 2k refuses to change it. They claim that the player size to court ratio is accurate to the nba. Look at how there's lil space from corner man to the low post. that's accurate? Wow

The court's size is fine, it actually feels big at times. The probably as stated above is the speed of defenders, slow shot animations, and the effectiveness of late closeouts. Slow, passing, catching and layup/dunk animations and the fact the players bring the ball down every single time to get stripped or blocked.

A lot of players online like to go off ball and stand at the top of the arc to try to bait you into passing it to the shooter at the elbow. When you pass it to them, they sprint into him and it effects the shot. The game rarely calls fouls in that situations.
I'd love to see these and other contact fouls to be implemented. I'm sure I'd get my players ejected tons of times in the beginning, but still, this would make the game so much more enjoyable for me.

player models are definitely too big.. they might be accurate height wise but they still haven't really captured how slender players are.

Slender they are not. They're more squashed and wide than tall and slender.

I was going to make a post about it but I doubt the art team listens. Getting old

Making the players smaller would tremendously improve gameplay. The paint is like a mosh pit at times.

                      But...but body scans...

Gotta give them some props for at least trying....too bad they didn't put any effort on the lower half of the body.

I credit them for getting scans in....however

Most of the players bodies are too wide. Shoulders ridiculously wide legs too huge jerseys too big .... didn't even try to resize those over flappy granpa size shorts and they bend their arms in weird ways when they jump because they're too big so they either won't be too tall dunking on blocking a shot.

I dont like to be critical of peoples art work but man they messed up. Jerseys are inaccurate and the material still looks like digital velvet .

But staying on the models yes man they need to bite the bullet and make them look like basketball players

Its messed up lebron has the same body as big baby Davis ..

Hes not the only one either. I dont care how big lebron is he shouldn't look like he had a warehouse full of twinkies that all went to his waist line.

I think I told this story before but Michael Carter Williams was back in Philly over the summer and stopped by the court I play at for like an hour or so.

I mean compared to other NBA players he's a twig but compared to a normal person he looks like a WWE wrestler lol

I think the problem with the scans is they didn't do a good job scaling them...because their needs to be a bigger variety in bodies...you should really be able to see the difference of a guy like Shaq vs Nerlens Noel but because of how wide their shoulders are, and how big their legs are they look similar.
I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.
I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.

Look at nba lives court. It would swallow 2k's. Throw the ball in the corner and see how small the distance to the post is.

Another huge reason why people never go in the post:it's so easy to use the corner defender to double then quickly return back to the corner to either contest or stop the drive.
