We are monitoring and fixing issues in this thread.
Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.

Wow this game looks freaking awesome. Everything we've been shown so far is very impressive.
No matter how great the game looks, I unfortunately always seem to come up with minor nitpicks.
In the video I noticed that the catcher masks still have the old school beige padding behind the cage. Almost all catcher mask padding is colour coordinated with team colours these days.
On Donaldson's walk off homerun at the end of the video I noticed that the Blue Jays third jersey still somewhat shows the white tear on the left shoulder seam (as seen on the 3rd base coach) like last year. This was a bit of a distraction for me last year. I hope this gets fixed up prior to release this year.
Blue Jays back stop ad board is a little too far off center. Needs to be moved over a little bit to the right when viewed from the broadcast angle.
....These types of posts makes me wonder when the dev team will just throw their hands up and say forget it and stop coming here.

I think SDS realizes they have some pretty passionate baseball fans here, guys who are going to point out the minor inconsistencies. In fact, a lot of these comments have helped to improve the game.

Yeah people in these threads don't just nitpick at things for the sake of being jerks, they do it because they want the game to be as good and as realistic as it can be. The devs probably get a little irritated from time to time but if anything they should be flattered that people care this much about the game.
Not to mention the fact that we nitpick about such small things, just shows how much this game gets right that the only things to complain about are the tiniest details.

honestly, the game looks exactly the same for about the 4th year in a row. can't even tell its on ps4
You probably feel that way because 16 is using essentially the same player models that were used on PS3, with minor improvements I guess. And since the player models are the main focus in the game most of the time, it can look stale i guess.
But there have been massive upgrades graphically to other areas, specifically stadium and lighting upgrades. And the difference is huge compared to last gen.

I wonder if the stat hits on secondary positions have exceptions. A center fielder shouldn't struggle at a corner outfield position, and most shortstops are capable of playing second and usually third. Then again, it wouldn't make any sense to play an elite defender like Kevin Kiermaier or Andrelton Simmons out of position, but if I'm playing DD or doing a fantasy draft and I want to put together a defensive super team with Kevin Kiermaier, Kevin Pillar and Carlos Gomez in my outfield, I'll be ticked if their ratings take a hit. I guess you could just change their primary position though. Overall I think it's a really cool feature. Good stuff!
I believe they said that similar positions are not penalized ....like putting a RF with no IF secondary at SS would be.
So a 3B playing at SS won't be the same as that LF/RF at SS would be....
Plus...it's going to depend on the initial fielding ratings as well....

This game looks great !!!! Does anyone know if the "foul ball" camera has been brought back this year ? I believe it was removed last year. I loved watching that camera as it somewhat tracked a foul ball into the the stands.

I think Ramone said in one of the streams or Twitter that it had returned on some foul balls, not all of them.

Don't quote me on this, but I think they said somewhere that they brought back some but not all of the foul ball tracking.

Loved the video, really excited to play this game and it's looking better and better with every video that comes out. One thing I noticed though is the it looks like the Angels Stadium LF scoreboard logo is still wrong. The halo is still completely behind the A. Once I noticed it, I can't un-notice it.
This is a shot I took from last years game, but it has been wrong in every video of 16 I've seen so far. Hopefully its being looked at and could possibly be fixed by release.
