Re: NHL 16 Available Today For Xbox One & PlayStation 4, Post Your Impressions
I'm settling in now after 25 games in my NSH BAGM and about 10 exhibition games. Like the base sliders I've got, so now it's just a matter of tweaking difficulty-type sliders as I see fit. Got plenty of leeway to increase CPU difficulty.
Just recently bumped down goalie reaction speed for both me and CPU after noticing both my goals allowed and goals for a game were near bottom of the league. That can happen, but I prefer another goal or two per game. Just had a crazy 6-5 SOW where I went up 3-0, then down 4-3, came back twice to force OT.
This game does have breakdowns every now and then, but I've found player switching to be by far the biggest problem with this game. It's comically bad and can screw up a whole possession leading to a goal allowed defensively. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it.
All that said, I still race home after work to get in a game or two before going to pick up my wife from work, and try to sneak in a game any chance I can get. This game looks so beautiful and provides a fun, challenging yet still realistic enough experience that the flaws can be dealt with.
