I think someone listened to us. McGregor is only a 92 ovr and his stand up is only 92.

So the highest is 95 and the lowest is 82 ? This reminds me of Madden ratings from years ago. Surely out of 200 plus fighters, some of them are deserving of 60s and 70s.

Love the low top end. Would like a lower bottom end too but I'm just glad there aren't a ton of 95-99s.

So glad to see Punk rated so "low".

          Can we edit ratings?

While I completely agree, this is one game I'm happy this is how its handled. Reason being is I buy UFC to compete online, its all I do with it and what I enjoy. Now I like to run with just about anyone on the roster and when the overalls fall closer together you will see more variety in the matchups. You will still have your users who pick only the highest rated player of the weight class BUT you will also run into more guys willing to run with slightly lower rated guys.

Now from a singleplayer perspective I could see the complaint.

It depends how much ratings matter. If they are spread out a fair bit (in terms of effectiveness) then I think strengths and weaknesses will come into play quite nicely.

Wasn't Punk said to be 85? Plus, why not add him as a character after his first fight and base his ratings on that? Much more accurate

Not being able to edit ratings is so disappointing. Maybe one of these years...

Him being in the game at launch will move a few copies. I think his stats are too high but he is a relatively high profile guy to a lot of casual MMA fans.

The UFC exerts a lot of control over the fighter ratings. it will never happen.

That's... kind of stupid, I don't get it.

This has to be the only "major" sports game that doesn't do this, right?

Again, this is out of EA's hands. The UFC has final say over the ratings, gives more input on them than you'd think, etc. They won't let let anyone edit fighter ratings.

Most people know all of this already, but it still doesn't make it any less silly.

I mean what is the harm in editing ratings? Are they afraid that someone will post a video of one of their virtual fighters getting smashed and they don't want real life fighter to get upset about it? If so, we can already so that by lowering the difficulty.

I know that this is allegedly UFC's doing... It just makes more sense to me for EA not to want us to edit than the UFC. Maybe neither side wants to see videos like the "Breaking Madden" videos or something? Either way until I hear a valid reason of as to why we can't edit, then it will continue being on the top of my wishlist list. I honestly can't think of a single legitimate reason though.
