Your trophies and person achievements.

Since there is a "white whale thread". I thought it would be fun to have a " I finally did it" thread. Post screens and stories of what you finally accomplished in The Show.
I finally...finally got the platinum for MLB 15. That "nope" trophy nearly destroyed me. But tonight, I threw a pitch. Hit to deep center field, back to the track, to the walllll and I caught the ball. I saw the red appear. My eyes lit up. I thought to myself here it is. Time slowed down. I reached up... and boom, platinum trophy. So Two years in a row I got the platinum.

Also earlier this year, I threw a perfect game. That was exciting and nerve–racking, but in a good way.

I finally got the nope trophy and the platinum yesterday.

After playing hundreds of games in my franchise i thought i would just try getting it by using a roster and slider changes in a exhibition game as time is running out til i delete it or stop playing it.
Got it in the first game in the first innings. Wish i had tried this method sooner as i had been playing all my games with auto fielding waiting for the cpu fielders to rob a HR for me before i switched back to assisted.

I hope this trophy doesn't return for 16.

I have 3 Platinum trophies in MLB The Show:







Plus, once I finished a 162 game franchise in MLB 12 The Show. (never since)

I also finally got the Platinum on an MLB The Show game. The Nope trophy was also the last one I needed to get too. Got it with auto fielding on. The only other MLB The Show game I came close to getting the Platinum on was MLB 11 The Show at 84%.



I have also completed multiple seasons in the past playing every inning of all 162 games plus playoffs. MLB 15 The Show was the first time since probably MLB 08 The Show where I didn't finish a season.

dazzelle and I did pretty much the same thing. I had auto field on all games trying to get it. I finally went into the roster vault. Looked up arcade rosters and sliders. Found the one that said nope. You play home as the Giants and away is the A's. I played in the minor league park Capital Field I believe it's called. Pitching on legendary. Fielding assist. During that game I had auto field like normal. The balls where barley making it over the fence and my players just watched the ball go over. Then I had a feeling to put it to assisted. A couple of hits later it came and I caught it. I think I was in the 3rd inning losing 22-0 because I didn't want to get outs. I wanted to stay in that inning to keep it going. If the ball is dropping in the outfield, just run to the wall and practice your jumps.

I finally got the platinum in 15 too. I was so stoked. I did a lot of the trophies before OSFM came out. I had all but 3 within a little over a week. The one where you catch a ball out of bounds sucks b/c it is so situational and has to be in the perfect position.

I've achieved the Platinum every year since I started playing The Show. I remember 12 being pretty difficult and time consuming. As was 15 because alot of the luck based trophies.

Sometime in the future, I'd to see a sort of 'create-a-trophy', where you could share with the community your trophy & players from around the country would try to collect those trophies.

I'm kind of surprised at how hard the "nope" trophy is to get. I see a lot of people saying they can't get it. I got it on the first day I had the game. Like maybe the third or fourth game I played. I didn't even know there was a trophy for it until it happened, because I never look at the trophies because I really don't care about them myself. I guess I was lucky.

It was the last trophy I needed for 15, and it was the longest time taken for a single trophy in any of The Show games.

It actually glitched on me as well, because the first time I robbed a homer it didn't pop.

And like you said, it's a "luck-based" trophy, and some are luckier than others. The second last trophy I needed was "Sorry Kid" which is another entirely luck based trophy where you need to reach over a railing and pull a foul ball back.

Hopefully those kind of trophies are done away with going forward.

It was the last trophy I needed for 15, and it was the longest time taken for a single trophy in any of The Show games.

The trophy that took me the longest that i was "trying" to get in the show was the one where you had to hit the right foul pole, in i think it was nationals park, in mlb ts 13.

The trophy list in 15 was a lot better imo, could get most of them from just playing. Hated the player specific ones from the previous games. Only trophies i "cheated" for in 15 were nope,HR with a pitcher and the 7 rbi with a player.

I checked last night and I'm only two away from platinum. The 15 strikeout one and the slide step one.
