Re: Ultimate option playbook
I love everything about the flexbone, but I feel like its passing game is limited in the game. So, I run a base shotgun 4-wide, with the two slot receivers acting as the A and C backs, and the HB acting as the B back. My base option play, therefore, would be a motion triple option or a QB-slot option. This way, I can still run flexbone and wishbone concepts out of a more pass-friendly formation. Sometimes, I'll put in flexbone tight as my goal line set, solely for power running.
