Rebuilding The Herd - A Buffalo Bills Franchise
2012 NFL Season Recap
2012 was certainly year of the rookie quarterback.
Ryan Tannehill and
Russell Wilson both put up amazing numbers in their first seasons.
Andrew Luck led the Colts into the playoffs in his rookie season, beating his successor, Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos in the divisional game, but falling short to Tom Brady and the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game. And lastly,
Robert Griffin III posted one of the greatest rookie seasons statistical-wise, throwing for over 4,000 yards.
Although falling about 100 yards short of a 2,000 yard season,
Marshawn Lynch won the rushing title by a landslide this season, rushing for well over 1,800 yards.
Brandon Marshall made a statement as his first year with the Chicago Bears, putting up his best season yet with 1,403 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
Two future Hall of Fame wide receivers,
Randy Moss and
Terrell Owens, officially called it a career and retired after the season. Also, in some bizarre news, quarterback
Kurt Warner has announced that he'll be coming out of retirement to lace back up and play in 2013. Kurt Warner hasn't been on a football field since playing for the Cardinals in 2009, however, there's still possibly a market for the 40 year old QB.
