Some More PES 2016 Data Pack 3 and UEFA EURO 2016 DLC Details Revealed

With data pack 3 and the UEFA EURO 2016 DLC scheduled to arrive tomorrow for PES 2016 fans, Global Product Manager for the series, Adam Bhatti recently had an interview with Squawka and provided some additional details.

We've shown some details below, but be sure to read the entire interview here.

Only 15 of the tournament’s 24 teams are licensed, but Edit mode will be active, so theoretically, the licensing would not prove to be an issue for PlayStation gamers. "You’ve got the official ball and all the ad boards, the Stade de France, and there’s a single-player tournament.”

Every single player in the tournament will be in the squads. We’re doing the biggest ever face update pack. “We’re adding nearly 200 faces, and the 200 faces are based on all of the teams in the Euros. “For Russia we’re adding 11 players, for Wales it’s eight, for England it’s 10… There’s tonnes of teams where the starting line-up will be extremely strong, and we’ll have fantastic photo-realistic faces.”

Every update and additional content should be applauded. On the other hand, one stadium for a tournament that will be played in 10 stadiums, is awfully low. Adam says it is a licensing issue, but still, they could try to add stadiums like De Kuip, perhaps LA Galaxy's stadium and some more, so we at least have more to play around with during exhibition games and tournaments.

Patching the lach-of-fouls problem apparently is impossible for them to adjust, otherwise they would have done so. I am still waiting for my first penalty during regular playing time.

Still looking forward to the EURO update and the 200 added face scans, though.

Bordeaux, Lens, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Paris, Saint-Denis, Saint-Étienne, and Toulouse are the host cities. You would presume at least another one of these would be available to license, except for Paris, Marseille and Lyon, cause those are courtisy of our friends at EA.

What a disgrace it was for UEFA to deal with Konami exclusively. This is even more pathetic than having more than half of the teams for Champions League and Europa League missing. Exclusive licenses are garbage no matter who signs them EA or anyone else!

I said the same thing. FIFA only has 3 licensed French stadiums and only 2 of those are being used in the Euro 2016 tournament. The stadium in Lyon in FIFA 16 is not being used because Lyon has a new stadium. Plus Ligue 1 and all of the teams are licensed in PES so I find it hard to believe that Konami couldn't get at least 5 or 6 of those stadiums that aren't in FIFA 16.
