If you go through the SOTS Starter Pack thread I think it has been explained, I need to confirm myself. As for splitting the songs you have to do it in the game.

Pitchers are set at 3.0 min mark and 6.0 min mark

Hitters at 1.0 min mark and 2.0 min mark
