Hey guys with the new play with friends feature I was curious if anyone would have interest in participating in a league?
We can discuss and figure out things such as games per season, playoff format and lineup restrictions. I would be willing to run it and maybe get some help from a few other people to make sure it runs smoothly.
Standings will be kept on a google doc.
As for lineup restrictions my first thought would be 3-4 diamonds (pitchers included), 5 golds and the rest of your team has to consist of silver or bronzes. Would love to see what others would like to try out in terms of lineup restrictions. I was also thinking that lineups could change from game to game so your not stuck with your team later in the season. If you get Mike Trout and want to put him into one of your diamond slots for the last stretch of the regular season then by all means do it.
Not really much else to explain, not even sure if this will draw attention but I personally would have more fun playing real sim baseball games with my DD roster and short seasons with a playoff format to crown a champion would be a blast to me at least haha.

-Team can only have 3 Diamonds, 5 Golds, and rest needs to be made up of silvers and bronzes. However one way to have a better team on a possible day is by using the inside edge. You could use a silver that is over an 85 due to inside edge and have it count as a silver.
-Not sure what the cheese will be this year in gameplay hopefully there is none but someone will find something, this will be for sim baseball players only.
-Lineups can change every game. However to be eligible for the playoffs a player will need to have played in 2 Reg Season games.
-Each team will play all other teams twice.
Now questions:
-How many guys do you think we need in the league for it to start?
-Playoff series or single elimination?
-Any rules I may have missed that you think should be implemented?
