    Thumb drive

How do we have to designate the folders in order for them to be read by the game? Do we just make a folder the says music?

Yes, just create a new folder called MUSIC. I believe it has to be in all CAPS.

Doesn't have to be all CAPS.

How do you create the new folder? Are you talking about on usb or on PS4? I tried to move folder with sounds to usb, but when I go to PS4 application manager and try to copy usb to hard drive it says no files saved. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I'm having the same problem. They do show up in the PS4 Media Player, but in the MLB 16 game, nothing shows up.

When i first started the game nothing showed up. I closed the game application as it did not connect to The Show servers the first time. This time i connected to the servers and when I went into sounds of the show my usb was recognized and uploaded all my sounds.

How did you get them to show in media player. I keep getting message that there is no saved data on usb. For anyone who got it to work, can you please provided step by step instructions on how you got info from usb on to PS4 system and then on to the game?

I'm having problems as well. Put all files in a "MUSIC" folder on my thumb drive. Game won't recognize my usb or it says there's no music folder. USB shows up in media player but no files available to play. Have reformatted my thumb drive to FAT32 several times now, and still no luck. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Been at this for almost an hour now lol

Edit: I'm using a mac BTW

Edit 2: Just got it to work after changing my partition table from GUID to MBR on MS-DOS Fat32 format.

I just tried this but it is still telling me that there is a unsupported/corrupt file. Do you have any idea what I could do?

I have a PC, usb stick and the PS4.

Using the usb stick in the PC, I made a folder called MUSIC and put the songs I wanted in there. Did not show up in MLB 16, but did show up in PS4 Media Player.

I also had a folder in the USB called PS4, and inside that was a folder called MUSIC. I copied all the ones from the top MUSIC folder (the one mentioned above), opened the PS4 folder, then the MUSIC folder inside the PS4 folder, and pasted all the songs there.

I also left them in the MUSIC folder, so it was like this:

                            MUSIC > my songs
                            PS4 > MUSIC > my songs

I then inserted my USB stick inside the PS4 console, and reset the system. The next time I started the game, it logged me into the servers (which previously it DID NOT), and all my music showed up when I went to the Sound of the Show menus and clicked on import music.

I am not sure what did it

                            Servers?
                            Reset PS4?
Files copied to "other" MUSIC Folder?
USB stick just wasn't in right...

I don't know, but that is step by step how it worked for me. Try them, one of them might be the key for you. Let me know if I can help at all.

Have you guys checked your thumb drive's format? I know that it has to be FAT32 or ExFat according to the PlayStation website. I tried Exfat but it didn't work. The only thing that worked is formatting my thumb drive as MS-Dos and partitioning it as Master Boot Record on Disk Utility on a Mac. What computer are you using?
