Runners retreating

I've noticed several time my base runner on first will retreat back regardless of outs or an obvious base hit. I use auto base running but I'm curious if this happens with assisted as well?

Have not had this yet, but they screwed up auto baseing running again like they did in 14 it was all fixed in 15 now they screwed it again for 16, soon as a guy gets on first the CPU stupidly trys to steal every time and gets picked off alot, it's cost me a lot getting picked off and caught stealing because of the braindead CPU even if your losing 10-0 in the 8th, the only way to stop it is hold L2 the entire time so you control the runner on first.

and No I will not go to assist mode I SUCK at basrunning I screw it up to many times when 2 people are on base

Well I guess it's just an auto base running glitch.

My last game the runner on first started running with two outs on contact but then quickly retreated back to first for some reason.

I have base running set on auto and if i hit a ball in the gap the runner stops at first and any runners on base go one base only. I don't think the auto base running is working

I had a runner go form 1st to home after a double, so maybe it;s random?

It has been confirmed by many that auto base running is glitched. There is a report in the bugs thread so please go up vote it so it will get a look.

I don't know what I am doing wrong but the 3-4 games I have played have some sort of baserunning moments. I will say it again, make sure the gameplay is working at all costs. If it doesn't play a good game of baseball then it will sit on the shelf.

Using auto base running is bugged. Go up vote it in the bugs thread

I can't believe there's any bigger issue in this game than this one. If I lose this next game, I'll just go back to The Show 15 (where it worked nearly perfectly) until a patch is released. I like auto-base running for the mindless stuff (man on 1st, ball drops in for a single... RUN TO SECOND, you moron... we're paying you 3 million dollars this year!!!) and manual stealing (I haven't had any of the auto-stealing issues I've read about. I usually want my guys to auto-steal MORE). The game just makes more sense that way. But seriously... the game is nearly broken because of this.

Yeah it does, i play on assisted and have had it happen a number of times.
