NBA 2K16 Legends Roster Available Now For PS4 (Created By Brian Mazique)

Brian Mazique has just released his NBA 2K16 legends roster, exclusively for PlayStation 4 users, featuring more than 130 created legends. Search for the franchiseplay99 online user ID to find them.

NBA 2K16 is stacked with modes and options, but even a game as deep as 2K can use a little refresh in between releases.

About three years ago, I started doing a legends roster using a mixture of the players from the classic teams and filling the gaps with player creations of my own. Last year was the first year I shared it with the community. The response was predominantly positive, so I did it again this year.

This year’s version has more than 130 created legends, countless re-rated players who were already on the classic teams and a plethora of current stars with adjusted attributes.

The point of the roster is to capture all of the players in their prime seasons. That’s obviously going to be debatable, but that’s the structure. Physically, the players have been created to the best of my abilities using the in-game creation tool.

The ratings are based on the player’s stats from the chosen year of replication. The different eras required some concessions in order to make guys like Bailey Howell or Bill Sharman fit into today’s game, which is the era NBA 2K16 simulates.

Ratings are always a source of major debate, and I don’t suspect any different in this instance. Nonetheless, it’s still a fun new roster to use for MyGM or MyLeague, and best of all, it’s free! There are two rosters: one that includes multiple versions of top players like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Charles Barkley and others.

The second roster has no duplicates. Only one MJ, Kobe, etc. The highest-rated version was used in those instances.

This is exclusively for the PS4. Sorry Xbox users, it was too much work to complete on 2 consoles this year. Perhaps something can be worked out for NBA 2K17.

At any rate, check out the video to see the full rosters.

P.S. The all-time Oklahoma City Thunder players have been added to the 1995-96 Seattle Supersonics.
