Time doesn't seem to advance at the correct clip. Even for a low-scoring (i.e. 1-0) game, it should take at least 2.5 hours to play in most cases. But the time in the game is more like 1.5 hours.

I didn't notice this as much last year, and was wondering if anyone has noticed the same.
The only stadium thus far I've seen this problem is in Arizona where it remains light well after 8 PM in April. It gets dark faster in Arizona I think than any other state. All the other stadiums seem to have proper transitional lighting. But I'm also playing quick counts. The time of game is also fairly accurate with quick count.

Moving this to impressions as I apparently had it in the wrong location.

It is always the case when a new game comes out that we have to nitpick the finer details. I am not free from complaints and have posted bugs to SCEA's website. But I have to say this game is amazing! I never expected that it would play so much better than last year, but it does. In particular, I find the gameplay really great. Don't get me wrong, despite lack of updated player models, the game is visually awesome. But this game really shines with GAMEPLAY. I highly recommend reducing the Fielder Run Speed, Fielder Reaction Speed and Baserunning Speed all to 3. With these minor adjustments, and the return of SOTS, the game plays and sounds so much like real baseball. Credit for these suggestions goes to Armor and Sword. I must add as well that the commentary IS BETTER. It is significantly better once you start franchise. There are lots of little details in commentary that are relevant and timely (not the repetitive lines we always hear in play now), and I am only 8 games in to franchise. Props to the commentary guys as I think they will bring commentary to a new level and can't wait for what they reveal for next year. Looking forward to the first patch, but just wanted to give SCEA some props given the minor complaints the passionate fans of this game have. Thanks SCEA!

If that's true, then it's a good point and should be looked into. And my guess--since every other park seem very accurate with time of day lighting and shadows--is that it's likely due to the fact that Arizona does not observe Daylight Savings time, and the game probably assumes that it does. So the lighting would be off by an hour at all times. Any Arizona people wish to weigh in and agree or disagree with this theory??

If this is the reason, I'm not sure how difficult it would be to fix, so I'm not sure if it's worthy of a bug report given the more pressing issues that need to be fixed this year. Of course I don't play at Chase Field too often--people that play a Franchise or as the Diamondbacks would probably strongly disagree with me! ...either way, at the very least it probably should be reported and fixed for next year.

You could be right. I live in AZ. Hope they can fix it though I'm playing with Cubs and Yanks this year. Temp is also way off. I submitted bug report.

So after 7 games I have seen 3 balls hit the pitcher going up the middle. The interesting thing is so far all 3 have been balls I have hit none by the CPU.

This is BY FAR the best game of the franchise. It is as close to a perfect sports game as I have ever played. Only complaint I have is that pitching is a little too easy. Last year I played on all star pitching witch cpu sliders turned up, I had to move to HOF this year, with the same slider set, and I still rarely give up more than 2 runs. Thinking of trying out legend pitching. That would be uncharted territory for me, I have never tried it.

Not true as they were there in '15 for my RttS player. I'll load it up and post a screenie when I get home later.

You talking bout year to year vs lhp and vs rhp?

Or just for the current season?

Both. I'm pretty sure in RttS last year (and previous years) it had the current season as well as previous seasons as well as an avg at the bottom. I'll double check later.

Probably does not happen because the game is sped up even when playing in broadcast mode even when continuously hitting the "O" button. I was hoping for high five animations also after a sacrifice or moving a runner over anything outside of a home run.

I do see home run animations but usually hit the "O" button to fast so that it does not skip directly to my scripted defense turn. I'm hoping this lets the game play out naturally but I don't know any more because I went 15 innings tied 0 to 0 in Franchise and it seemed like the game depended on my locked player to get that run.

I play player lock in Franchise mode as for all those new animations that were mentioned I have yet to see as many. Maybe because I am playing player lock in Franchise mode?

I know for a fact year to year stats for righty avg, lefty avg, risp avg, hr vs lhp, hr vs rhp. Avg at home vs road, etc has not been DISPLAYED since 2013 if i recall the year correctly. I know because I complained about it then. They do track those stats, cause if you go to leaderboard section in rtts you can see your CAREER stats for those categories just not year to year. They are just to lazy or dont care enough to show them to us in Rtts.

There are dugout cut scenes after home runs and i think significant runs. And they are nice. But they are way too infrequent. Surprised given that this was introduced 2 years ago.

The online play is seriously a complete joke. Constantly fails and is so slow loading anything from online. Just put tons of money into fixing it for christs sake.

Loving the gameplay, but the little hiccup during cut scenes, takes me right out of immersion i could be enjoying. Last year they had the cut scene of high fives in the dugout, one of the coolest cut scenes i have seen in this series, not in this year, dont get it.
