Extra Innings Mode Broken?
Just played two games on All Star and it honestly felt like rookie. So, I decided to play a game on Legend to see if I could get a gold or Diamond after the game and yet again the game felt like rookie. After the game it showed 3 commons and a few bronzes and a silver. It came down to two bronzes and I got the bronze player instead of the stadium. From their percentages I should have even had a shot at commons, correct? If this is broken, that's huge because it means we can't play offline with a challenge or expect to receive the proper rewards. Now that online is broken it's all we have to play atm so it's either play on rookie or don't play at all which is pretty frustrating.Tags: None -
Re: Extra Innings Mode Broken?
I feel like All-Star difficulty in general is easier this year. I played mostly All Star difficulty on MLB 15 and it gave me the most realistic results for my level of play. This year's game, I'm killing it on All-Star difficulty.Comment

Re: Extra Innings Mode Broken?
Yep, I played an all diamond team on all-star and allowed only one run until the ninth inning and then gave up two more. It really does feel like it's on rookie, but I guess that's a good thing as far as getting rewards.Last edited by plainfacepicasso; 04-10-2016, 04:37 PM.Comment

Yea I just played a game on Legend and won 15-0 or something like that. It's definitely broken. Also I got a common card as a reward.Comment

Re: Extra Innings Mode Broken?
It's definately on Rookie no matter what difficulty you select, you can tell by the size of the PCI. As for the rewards it's hard to tell for sure but my guess is they're bugged too! It almost seems like they don't want us to have any way to earn rewards early in the season because that will stop people from buying packs!Comment

Same here, it's definitely rookie no matter which difficulty you select before the game. I think the rewards are also based on the rookie level.Comment

Re: Extra Innings Mode Broken?
EI and Play vs. CPU have a very similar reward structure, so if you want to grind for rewards but not play Conquest, that's probably your best bet. Difficulty works fine there, too. Just make sure to load a regular, offline play now game if you start on Conquest/BR but want to jump to Play vs CPU - it'll reset the "reduced stamina" flag that Conquest and BR play by, and will ensure both pitchers have their full stamina to start the game (and yes, that's a bug that needs fixing).Comment

Re: Extra Innings Mode Broken?
The difficulty is absolutely broken for Extra Inning games in DD. Complete game shutouts for me are pretty common on HoF difficulty no matter who I play. Cpu pitcher pipes way too many pitches down the middle. Feels like it's stuck on rookie or veteran difficulty no matter what.
It does work for conquest.
