Idea for Pro-Am Affiliations
I like how MyPark affiliations can build a sense of community among the players there, but as a Pro-Am player, I feel as though I'm missing out on that. Instead of tying the MyPark affiliations to Pro-Am (I like the idea of keeping your "streetball" rep separate from your "in-the-gym" rep), 2K could make a Pro-Am rep system that is tied to the high school that you choose in MyCareer. Then, you could be matched up with people from the same high school team and play the other high schools for the championship. What do you all think?Tags: None -
Re: Idea for Pro-Am Affiliations
I already don't like the park affiliations and I don't know what game you are playing man but since they have added t all I've seen is segregation among the player base plus with the way park is now Pro-am is the only place a lot of played can go to to be able to play with there friends due to the park affiliation thing. I know it was supposedly a glitch but letting us ball with a diff affiliation was prob one the best Features early on.

Re: Idea for Pro-Am Affiliations
There was much more of a 'community' feeling back in 2k14, where you could play with anyone. Now (strictly my own opinion), Park isn't even worth playing because of the affiliations.Comment

Re: Idea for Pro-Am Affiliations
I don't like the affiliations either. Most likely you won't be able to play w/ all your friends. You might be able to agree w/ some of your core guys to follow you but you won't get everyone.
I believe if they'd like to keep the affiliations, keep it how it was when 2K16 first came out where you could play w/ people from other affiliations. But during rival day, in order for you to add wins for your affiliation or extra rep during rival week, you'll have to have a group of the same affiliation. So for people like me that don't care about all of that, I can still be playing w/ my friends.
Hopefully, they do something.HATE LOSING MORE THAN I LOVE WINNING!

Re: Idea for Pro-Am Affiliations
They could do something like the 2K mobile app does where you join a team for a short period of time and you would play to earn wins for that team. The team with the most wins for those couple days earns you a reward. That way, you wouldn't be stuck with one team for the entirety of the game.Comment

Re: Idea for Pro-Am Affiliations
Anything that prevents you from playing with a third of the people on your friends list is a terrible idea.
The only time I was OK with affiliations was earlier this year when you could meet up on your MyCourt with people from different affiliations and go play together at any park you wanted.
But once they patched that feature out of the game I stopped playing MyPark entirely.Comment
