    Attribute and Fighter Perk suggestions for Future Roster Updates for UFC2

    As we are having DEVs drop in quite often and read the feedback, I wanted to get a thread organized for suggestions of Attribute changes for Fighters in Future Updates.

    Be specific and clear as to WHICH Attributes or Perks need to be changed. Let's keep providing feedback so we can get the most out of the game.

    I think JDS right hand power should be 99, this is no way Barnett has more right hand power (99) than JDS.

      Big Nog

      Attributes (any unlisted stay):

      Punch Speed from 57 to 59

      Clinch grappling 52 to 64

      Top Game from 79 to 82
      Ground and Pound from 92 to 90
      Off the back from 81 to 87

      Chin health from 83 to 91 (this definitely needs adjusted)
      Stamina from 68 to 70
      Toughness from 61 to 64

      Moveset changes (if not listed keep the same):

      Jab (level 2)
      Lead hook - Head to Level 2
      Rear hook - Head to Level 2
      Lead overhand hook (Level 2 left hand)
      Straight Cross (Level 2)
      Rear Overhand Hook (Level 2 right hand)

      Rear Teep kick body (level 1)
      Lead Teep kick body (level 1)

      Core clinch moves level 2

      Thai Clinch level 2

      Over under clinch level 1

      Double under clinch level 2

      Rear naked choke back mount level 2

      Armbar back mount level 4

      North south choke level 3

      Anaconda choke level 4

      Guillotine Sprawl level 2

      Flying Triangle level 3

      Arm bar single collar clinch (not flying) level 2

      Flying Guillotine level 2

      Guillotine reversal single leg level 3

      Also both Big and Lil Nog have Omoplata's from Rubber Guard (they don't have rubberguard and shouldn't) but they should have it from Full-guard.

      GET RID OF WEATHERING STORMS LEVEL 5 AND REPLACE WITH CARVED OF WOOD LEVEL 5

      Reason being is that Nogueira is 1) terrible at strike defense IRL, in fact he eats a lot of unnecessary punches 2) He should be incredibly difficult to finish, carved of wood simulates that.

      Remaining changes needed for Nog post patch.

        Can you get rid of the spinning back fist for Iceman? And just have it be a massive overhand hook?

          Increase Lyoto machida

          Punch speed
          kick speed
          movement

          Shogun Rua

          Heavy Hands lvl (1-2)

          Jon Jones punch power to OP(he didnt KO anybody lol)
          2k18 fixes

          Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)

          Late contest on laups matter too much.

          Random blocks doing pumpfakes.

          Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.

            Hector Lombard should have Risk Reward (increase speed of strikes during health event). He has a tendency to gas himself out going hard and fast for the kill, and the perk is a great fit for him. He should be the poster child for this perk, so it feels odd he doesn't have it.

            Nick Diaz should have Body Snatcher. He has a penchant for digging hooks into the body and it seems weird he doesn't have it. I realize he already has five perks that make sense, but one will have to go to make room. I would get rid of Chess Master (Lv.1). A low-level Chess Master makes sense for him, but if it's between that and Body Snatcher, I think Body Snatcher is a better representation of the skillsets he leans on in the UFC. Upping his submission ratings could be done to compensate to still make him dangerous on the ground, as he should be.

            Neil Magny I think earned himself Weathering Storms after his fight against Lombard. It's not a large body of evidence but it was a signature moment in his career.

            Ronda Rousey should have Dirty Boxer instead of either Ground and Pound or Vengeful. I realize Rousey GNP'd Alexis Davis and did damage similarly to Liz Carmouche, but Rousey's stand up game is entirely built around her work in the clinch. She wears on people with dirty boxing up against the cage while she works on an opening for her throws. Assuming a fighter can only have five perks, I would remove either Ground and Pound or Vengeful to make room for Dirty Boxer. Probably Vengeful.

            Brian Ortega should have in the very least a low level Chess Master, if not a high one. He's a black belt under the Gracies and his nickname is "T-City" (Triangle City) for a reason. Half his professional wins have come by submission, including most recently a triangle submission against Diego Brandao (a fellow black belt). His aggressive submission game is a very strong part of his identity as a fighter.

              (Brian Ortega) This guy need Guard Specialist lvl 3 or 4 and ground and pound lvl 1. Also Heavy Hands lvl 1. Also he needs the flying triangle. Plz GPD look at this and get this guy updated plz!!!

              Brian Ortega is no joke and has it all.

                Buff Bisping and nerf Almeida, him having 94 stand up seems overkill

                    Re: Attribute and Fighter Perk suggestions for Future Roster Updates for UFC2

                    I made a thread on the old forums about the state of Brian Ortega. He is incredibly misrepresented in this game, even labeled a "boxer". He needs massive boosts to his ground game.

                    Stand up: 84;
                    Clinch: 82;
                    Ground: 85;

                    Fighting style: Boxer;

                    Fighter Abilities: Back Constrictor (lvl 2), Guard Specialist (lvl 1), Vengeful (level 1);

                    In my opinion, Ortega is likely the most misrepresented fighter in the game. He has a 3-0 record in the UFC (2-0-1, officially), with two coming via submission (one over a black-belt in Brandao, and he was getting the better of Tavares on the mat as well, a third degree black belt in BJJ). In reality, he appears to be as dangerous on the mat as anyone else currently competing in the UFC; he is constantly throwing up submissions and threatening on the mat. In his fight with Brandao and prior to submitting him with a wonderful chain of sub attempts (ending in a triangle), Brandao - once again, a black belt - outright refused to go to the ground with him, repeatedly standing up from his guard.

                    How on Earth is his ground rating an 85? Where is his "Tap Already" perk? Why is his "Guard Specialist" only a level 1? Why is he listed as a "Boxer"?

                    Can we get an update to this fighter? He is one of the top prospects in the UFC at the moment, and he is incredibly weak in the game, particularly in his strongest area.

                    Where he should be

                    Stand up: 87 - outstruck and dropped Tavares on the feet; bested Brandao on the feet with effective use of his length and feints;

                    Clinch: 86 - with a high level of takedown defense from this position;

                    Ground: 90 - with Guard Specialist level 3, Tap Already level 2 or 3, and Chess Master level 2 (remove Vengeful because it simply makes zero sense for him to have this).

                      Won't happen, and shouldn't happen imo. I don't know if this is possible but I would like to see the stamina penalty of Nick's kicks cranked way down, along with the power of his spinning kicks cranked way down. He almost uses them as taunts.

                        I'd like to see at least level 2 tap already added to Joe Duffy.

                        Edit:: why on earth does Chris Weidman have chess master level 3? It could easily be switched for crushing Presence

                              Yair is in a good spot. He has yet to secure a big win in his career, and is an 87 or 88 overall in the game. That seems right.

                              On the other hand, Brian Ortega being an 85 overall on the mat is downright ludicrous.
