How do you reverse comebacks?

How the heck do you do this!! lol I've tried pressing the LT, I've tried pressing whatever button it prompts the person thats doing the comeback. Am I not quick enough or what. I've never been able to do this since comebacks was introduced lol. Thanks in advance.

You've gotta hit the prompts before they do. That's all there is to it.
