@Jerrod_Swanson there is no cover vote this year. News will generally start dropping around E3 time

There wasn't a cover vote last year, either. The cover vote usually took place right around March Madness time.

Since there wasn't one last year, I wasn't expecting one this year.

      There was.

But I couldn't care less. I just want real news.

Yeah there was, it was Gronk, AB, Patrick Peterson, and OBJ. Gronk and OBJ were in the finals, it was on ESPN SC.

Thank you, I don't even remember that.

It was done differently though, wasn't it? It wasn't tied into March Madness, I don't think.

          I don't care, either.

Yeah it was only 4 people instead of one player per team like the years before.

Good. I think it was a gimmick that had run its course. Hopefully we can get back to the selection having some correlation to that year's innovation.

Oh well? We have the custom cover thread either way.

Can't say I ever cared. I always thought that it was fixed PR stunt, anyway. I kinda liked the old days when they just announced a player that tied into whatever gameplay changes were in store.

This is what I expect the Madden 17 cover to somewhat look like, and I think pass rush could be a gameplay focus.

I'm guessing no vote because it is going to be a send off to Peyton Manning.

Don't feel either way about it. Never cared who was on the cover but it wasn't like the cover vote was taking time away from them doing any work on the game. Cover vote is just the beginning of the hype train.

With Miller as the cover athlete or a focus on pass rush?

Focus on pass rush of course, the person on the cover doesn't matter to me at all.
