2016-2017 Roster (PS4)

Hey Guys, I will be doing a NBA 2K17 Roster with Rookies

This will feature
- Ratings
- Contract
- Ages
- Tendencies
- Rookies (are in FA for now)
- Classic Teams (if 2K does any for next year)
- For New Features, I will try my best to put them in the game.

*All expired contracts on teams are set at a 35 million salary, so I remember, they will stay like that before the draft.

Name- Official NBA 2016-17 Roster


Whenever a team is eliminated they will be rated for next season.

Rating System

I will be using the same rating system 2K used in NBA 2K16. I do have a formula but it is not set.

Ex. if a team wins that championship the rating of the players would be 1 or 2 points higher than if they got swept first round.

Rookie Rating System

Rookies will be rated like they were last year. Here are some examples.

- Ben Simmons: 78
- Skal Labissiere: 72
- Brandon Ingram: 77
- Jaylen Brown: 74
- Khris Dunn: 75
- Buddy Hield: 75

Potential Rating System

Here is how I rate the potential of players

95-99: All-Time Great Player
88-95: MVP Candidate/ Franchise Player
84-88: Perennial All-Star/ Team Leader
80-84: Borderline All-Star
77-80: Borderline Starter
74-77: Sixth Man
70-74: Good Role Player
25-70: Reserve

- Andrew Wiggins- 91
- Karl-Anthony Towns- 92

76ers, Lakers, Suns, Nets and T-Wolves are now all done with ratings, contracts and ages.

Pelicans and Nuggets done and rookies are adjusted in FA.

Sorry about the lack of updates, I was on a trip and haven't been on for a week. I will try to get every team's ratings done before the draft, but with my 03-04 and 95-96 roster still there, it might be hard.

Russel should have a higher potential rating than Wiggins, not the other way around.

Wiggins has a higher potential in my mind. Better pick and a better career so far.

I agree, Wiggins has better potential, Russell hasnt shown enough yet IMO.

Have you ever given any thought to making a 2012-13 roster? I love your 2009 roster but would really love to use a 2012-13 record.

Well, there are 12-13 rosters online but currents are in FA. After my 03-04 and 95-96 I will give it a shot

Do you have any suggestions as to which have contracts, current players to bother me too much i can delete them. My favorite thing about your rosters are the contracts I like to use them. I have a Thunder franchise with your 09 rosters, going to start a Rockets franchise with your 95-96 ones as well as 03-04 ones.

Would love to be able to start a franchise at the start of the Harden era.

Thanks man,I look on the player contract at basketball reference for thier contracts. As for current players just put them on a team and then trade for a 55-65 overall euro player. Or you can use my 10-11 roster as a base. Then you have to just adjust ratings, some contracts and put players that were drafted in 2010, 2011 and 2012 in the roster by trading them for Europe players that were there before. For me to do this it would be in the summer when I will. I actually might do this before my 95-96 because it will take less time.

A small update- 10 out of the 14 teams that didn't make the playoffs are done with contracts, ratings and ages. I have rookies in FA, except for Thon, who I haven't added yet. Ratings for rookies and playoff teams are not accurate.

Sorry for no updates, when the draft comes I will try to have every teams ratings, ages and contracts done. And will add players then in draft night. My exam schedule is messed up this year and is for another week, so I will have school the next day, so not all of the draftees will be in teams but hopefully really close
