I noticed alot of people needed this patch for the Head Coach 06 PC version,for me it was like gold in a revolution,here it is...enjoy and tell me if you like it

Sorry, didnt notice, you already uploaded them here for everyone, i send you PM, so just ignore it. But although, i have a question, does sliders have to be the same for CPU and HUMAN team, for example RB Ability, if i set this for HUMAN team to 60, does CPU need to had 60 too? Anyway, thank you very much, cant say it enough, you are very kind to upload this "lost" files.

reset my computer and lost these gems then football freaks went down thank you soooo much. By the Way Anyone Know the name of The utility to scout all the players and change number of actions per day< if any mods or roster updates > tHANKS AGAIN

I agree. Someone give us a step by step guide on how to install these correctly into NFL Head Coach plus any programs needed downloading.

Programs without bad viruses that is.

You don't install anything except the .dll files, which go in the Windows/System and Windows System32 folders on your root drive. What you do is start a career and save it straight away then fire up the HC Settings program and make your adjustments in there. The slider changes will be applied when you start the game again.

I came across you thread and editing NFL Head Coach 06 sliders, I have absolutely no idea how to get files in place where i can do a full slider edit. Everything ive tried either corrupts my career file when i went into the save file and edited what little i could make out, but that corrupted the file. The other was through the hcsetting.zip files and the others you posted ive tried that but it continues to say i have those files missing the mfc71.dll and the msvcp71.dll and a few times it says i have TDBinterface.dll missing as well. is there anyway you could help me get this figured out please. I would greatly appreciate it

So to my knowledge these attachments just allow the sliders for USER and CPU sliders, not necessarily player stats and such. To use these files just extract the folder "HCSettings and run HCSettings.



Load your save file, usually in a document named "NFL Head Coach" in My Documents, and click the Saved folder and you should load your save there. Once it's loaded up you can edit the sliders and then slick save when done. When you go back in your team will surely annailiate.

Attached are the zip files for the sliders. The easiest way I found was to simply right click the mfc and msv zip folders one at a time after it downloads, and Extract To Downloads or Documents wherever.


The mfc file or the msv file will show up along with a readme. Dont worry about the read me. Extract the other file, the mrc or msv you havent extracted yet and extract that to the same place.


Copy both the mfc71.dll file, and the MSVCP71.dll, and

go to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder and paste.


Go extract your HCSettings folder and click HCSettings, should work like a charm.


Load your save from the "NFL Head Coach" folder usually found in your Documents folder. You must have already started a game already. Go into the folder go into "Saved" and click your save. Wala

If you are getting the "missing MSVCR71.dll" message here is what you do.
Go to msvcr71.dll C:\Program Files (x86)\EA SPORTS\NFL Head Coach usually

Copy the msvrcr71.dll file from there and paste it into

C:\Windows\SysWOW64

and is that doesn't work copy and paste it into
C:\Windows\System32

Hope this helps! Now I think you would all agree we figure out how to edit these players. Let's get to it!

Keep the hope alive! Been working through the night to get to this point. Don't lose hope!


I will post step by step how to start looking in the files of NFL Head Coach because I still cant seem to find editing your coach stats yet.



I found other coach's stats, draft classes, players, to edit but can't find how to edit the current player. Just an update I wanted to give all the fans!!
