Separating Skilled Points From Virtual Currency In My Career

I dont know if 2k would consider this being that im sure VC has made them tons of money. It would just make more since to have skilled points bc this way you can have a more realistic system so its more EARNED then bought.

Everybody knows that some modes get boring and/or are less valuable like pro-am, even to some degree now my park. Everybody quits in pro-am and my park is not as competitive as it use to be in my OP.

However if you have to earn skilled points to improve your attributes....... NO MORE quitting pro-am nearly as much bc you add a reward that has benefits.

Lets be real its ******** to be putting in time in these modes earning "VC" when it should be like participating in practice getting better bc its like scrimmaging.

VC is like MONEY so Im "SURE" 2k can come up with ways to make more of it other than making it mandatory for upgrading skills and attributes bc you cant buy a jumpshot in real life man. Thats why they took out our ability to make our own jumpshot right, bc nothing like sizeups cost anything.

Think 2k, things that cost money are what.... haircuts, tatoos, phones, cars(to travel to different parks in hint hint), socks, gold teeth. You get the point just be creative and add stuff in that ppl would want for them to spend money on without sacrificing your brand which im assuming is still going the sim way. You can still make money if you do things the right way and to me purchasing skills and attributes is not a good thing. That was a desperate move to get more money man, smart but yall better than that and can treat your loyal fans a little bit better. ppl already love the game for the most part bc of how 2k started from the bottom, the humble beginnings. "MEMBER DAT" but what can you tell a company on top that is in its prime...... but how much do yall really care about your customers?

Nahhh, not gonna happen. Its been ridiculously successful for them, why change? I understand where you're coming from. But, it ain't happening. A majority of people buy VC for players, MyTEAM and clothes. Makes no sense to switch the system. If you wanna start from the bottom do what I did on my second account. Limit yourself to an overall each year. Rookie Year - 75, 2nd Year - 80, 3rd Year - 85, 4th Year - 90+. Against lower seed teams lower difficulty to All Star, 10-5 seed teams = Superstar, Juggernauts = HoF Sim. Turn playvision off in Year 3 to learn plays by heart.

I know the second half of my post is off track, but it adds a fun twist to MyCareer. Something I highly suggest due to the game losing playability after exploits are exploited....

I know, it very well maybe reaching. They JUST added a 450 vc package for 99.99 LOL. I was just saying make VC strictly for everything other than upgrading attributes in My Career so there would be more participation in modes like the pro-am but if you think about it rep was a good enough reason last yr but skilled points is more realistic. Im just saying be creative and try to find another way for the sake of improving the experience but hey........everybody knows its a business. Im just challenging their confidence as well.

They'd have to seperate MPlayer/Park to pull this off....but I'm 100% with the idea of building by performance

Gaming community as a whole should start a petition against these VC scams.

VC has turned this franchise into a bull**** grind (for those of us that refuse to pay).

I just want to hop on, learn how to play and compete online... I don't want to grind and watch others that paid for VC excel while I keep grinding.

Video Games are supposed to be FUN not work.

it costs anywhere from 21,000-55,000 VC to max out a category. How could you tell the community that now it costs that same amount to travel to different parks or buy some stupid haircut, or a cheap tattoo? VC needs to go altogether if you ask me. It's pointless. They need to go back to the way it was. Just have better DLC thats worth buying and you'll see people keep up with the buying trends.

Nah, I refuse to grind from a freaking 55 overall. LOL, I even refuse to grind on that stupid NBA2K app.

I paid for all my players, and I got like 6 of them. Nobody got the time to sit around grinding for hours on a game that makes grinding the most unenjoyable gaming experience from a major game ever.

MyCareer isn't fun whatsoever. I ain't playing that mess from a 55 overall. If it wasn't for Park, I wouldn't even touch MyCareer.

Mycareer is def dry as flip this year. They always take 1 step forward and 2 steps back in that mode since 2k10.

I guess you are one of those 99 errything overall, one that must score by any means necessary and one of those who would like to dunk each time on opponent squad with 5'7'' point guard. Maybe i am wrong but you sound like one lol.

Actually all my dudes are based off a real player.

I got a Mahmoud Abdul Rauf, a Penny Hardaway, Chandler Parsons, Giannis, Sabonis, Bill Russell, Charles Barkely and a Lamarcus Aldridge.

So yeah, what I look like playing terrible myCareer from like 55 on 6 dudes, I have a life. Grinding for badges is enough for me. Looking at film regarding how my players played in real life. Looking at ratings is enough.

MyCareer is booty, everytime I play it, I die inside. So I am glad I can skip ahead.

Trust me, if people had to play crappy MyCareer from 55, they wouldn't be that many in the Park or ProAm, cause the mode is that bad.

MyCareer is definitely dull and I hope 2k takes the feedback from some of these members on here because they've come up with many different ideas that are doable and will add so much more flare to MyCareer to make it worthwhile and repayable after 1 season.

All they had to do was improve on it from when the mode had dleague and combines and etc.

They just added grindy elements to the mode with having a low overall and badges in order to get money out of people that refuse to play that mode, but wanna play Park and ProAm.

MyCareer as it is currently is a scam.

If it is like this next year, I ain't buying the game.

Having a busy life doesn't have anything with MyCareer mode i guess. I would rather have a longlasting mode which i can play through whole year to the release of next game. Currently i max out my player in span of 1 week and game gets boring, you can be DPOY, MVP and every single accolade of real NBA is joke in MyCareer.

I have a friend who is hardcore 'mycareer' player, when i go to him and see his career where he puts up roughly 37 ppg, 12apg and almost 10rpg i ask myself, where is fun there ? Not to mention 4 rings, 4 MVP titles, multiple DPOY, All NBA team awards..and what not. This mode just need to be challenging and longer lasting because becoming MVP and winning a title in MC is just piece of cake.
