Division 1 is a nightmare
Just started to play on Xbox, mostly play it on ps4. Can't even grind in d1, don't have fighter over 69, every other fighter I face is 75+ with 75-95 standup. For the love of god ea please balance this! Ut is a great mode, at first I was hesitant to try it out, but I got hooked. The balance is so out of whack it's ridiculous. How about making possible to earn coins in ranked championship, so when we get tired of this bull**** we can still play and earn coins on a level playing fieldTags: None -
Re: Division 1 is a nightmare
You can still play offline and collect your coins there. Otherwise learn how to beat guys that are higher rated. I also came up against 94 rated players with my 75 and rocked them easily. Maybe focus on ground game. As strong as their standing game is as poor will their ground game be. Take them to the ground and submit them or finish it with ground and pound. -
Re: Division 1 is a nightmare
I appreciate you mean well but that's just ridiculous. Telling ppl to learn to beat 85-90 ovr fighters with their 70-75 ovr fighters in Division 1. No. Fix your product EA and put your consumers on a level playing field. You can still play offline and collect your coins there. Otherwise learn how to beat guys that are higher rated. Re: Division 1 is a nightmare
It is a mode best started right when the game comes out. You will catch up but it takes some grinding. The good part is that by the time you have good stats you are good at the game from always fighting with a handicap.Comment

Re: Division 1 is a nightmare
I do fine with my 75's on PS4, it's not as bad in D2 and 3, it's on Xbox where I'm starting over, and the highest I got is a 68. D1 is seriously Murders row now. It can be fun at times, but it gets tired quick. And if I get a title shot quick, it always against a D4 super CafYou can still play offline and collect your coins there. Re: Division 1 is a nightmare
Yeah once I get the belt I start fighting guys that are multiple divs above me with ABSURD stat advantages.
I haven't been playing a lot of UT lately,. because it's just so ridiculous.
71 OVR fighting 80+ OVRs with maxed stand-up. Awesome!PSN: Lord__Hazanko

Re: Division 1 is a nightmare
You don't need good standup if you develop your ground game.
Half the people I come up against can't deny transitions or subs and sometimes I'l keep them in back sitting for a whole round to annoy them.
I just throw a few leg kicks to bait them then go for a slam from the clinchComment

Re: Division 1 is a nightmare
Absolutely NOT!!! And you can only delete ONE fighter per 24 hrs and it literally takes 4-5 fights to be in Div 2 and not many more to be in Div 3 so your argument about people farming Div 1 is pretty null and void. If you want UT coins then play UT.....if not then don't. Ranked and UT are two completely different entities and should not in any way shape or form be tied together.Comment

You don't need good stand up.. But when you get KOd in 2 shots it makes things rough. You don't need good standup if you develop your ground game.

If your a ground fighter, you can't stand with these maxed out strikers at all. they'll KO you with the cheesiest of cheese, just based on massive stat advantages, and the fact grapplers have no chin stats.PSN: Lord__Hazanko

Re: Division 1 is a nightmare
All you need is a solid parry and a quick unexpected takedown. The rest is up to you. As already written here half of the guys that are decent in stand are really bad in ground game. It's not ridiculous to tell people to train to beat higher cafs actually. Sure, if your opponent is very skilled and has stat advantage you might be chanceless, but you can always find an exploit in his fighting style, land a lucky punch or simply take it to the ground and try a submission (since these are so unbalanced this might even work)Comment

Re: Division 1 is a nightmare
It actually is kind of ridiculous to ask people in Div 1 to learn to higher rated cafs. In div 2 or higher yeah fair enough. Your gonna get paired agisnt people who are higher rated that's just how ultimate team works.
But at Div 1 when you've just first started asking people to beat fighters are most likely better in every single area is pretty rough. What your asking them to immediately pick up takes time and experience. On top of that when your ovr is that low a single punch from that guy with good stand up lands and your rocked.Comment

Re: Division 1 is a nightmare
Not entirely relevant to the thread but do you not get bored just holding a guy in back sitting without doing anything? Now I know winning the fight is cool and all but personally, I bought the game to have fun first and foremost. If I'm getting totally dominated I can still have fun, if I'm being jacked up on the ground I can still be having fun but I don't see how sitting there holding a guy in one position for a whole 5mins is fun? Even more so if you do this for the whole3/5 rounds, which I have seen people do. Maybe I'm missing the point but I'd rather, transition and attempt strikes and subs than just sit there for 5 mins waiting to flick a stick either left or right. You don't need good standup if you develop your ground game.

Re: Division 1 is a nightmare
The highest I've face is a 97 OVR in heavyweight 3 times(same person) and my first match if that wasn't bad enough. I actually won the first match via gnp. My fighter was 67-8 OVR BJJ guy. But the other two matches he had his way with me. It was insane cause he had like 2000 matches or something crazy played. I have no idea how is was still in div 1? It showed the highest div he went up to was div 3.
I'm starting to like fighting higher OVR now lol it's help with improving my game as a whole. Had some intense matches.Comment

Re: Division 1 is a nightmare
I don't do it very often, It is a bit boring, I work punches in until the head is red and next round go for a choke submission or crucifx knockout. Not entirely relevant to the thread but do you not get bored just holding a guy in back sitting without doing anything?
