Yup, I've heard him use Gary Cohen's "AND IT'S OUTTA HERE!!!" call when I played as the Mets.

^ Not that I can actually comment on those things (honestly I haven't played this game that much yet, school and work are in the way), but if this is your first time speaking on it, then you can't be too surprised. For it to be spoken about... well... it needs to be spoken about.

However, maybe you have mentioned it. Unsure either way.

Patch 1.04 is out, do not see any Patch Notes anywhere yet.

Hopefully this fixes a lot of issues

The off-speed pitch speed slider is such a great addition. It's always seemed that the speed differential between fastballs and off-speed was too pronounced, even without the guys with the crazy 15 mph fastball/changeup differentials.

I sped up the off-speed pitches and just had 4 walks and 1 strikeout in the first inning against Ervin Santana with strike frequency at 5 on HOF. It seems like on default, at least for me anyways, a good slider or curveball spends a ton of time in the zone, then darts out just at the end. Now they get out of the zone a lot sooner, which makes it easier to lay off.

I absolutely love watching teams evaluate their roster and make call ups and send downs based on performance.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Just getting started on this years game and so far I love the way it plays. Although some little things are bothering me. In franchise, the circles for stamina are so small, I have no idea what they are saying. I don't like the new graphs for player ratings either. Also, I cant see player jersey numbers on player card. Still don't understand why there isn't a search in the vault and I really wish you could import a player into an active franchise. I'm no good at creating players so I have to spend a lot of time perfecting a roster before I start. It would be nice if I could import some guys to replace a few fake draft pick players.

IDK if this is placebo or if others can corroborate this theory at all, but it feels like there's some need this year to do an eyeball test on players whose ratings might suggest they could excel in one role but whose on-field performance suggests otherwise.

Here's my example from my Dodgers franchise.

Turner gets hurt. Seager has all the tools to play 3rd and he excels at SS for me. I put him at 3rd as his primary position and move Kike to SS, who is originally a CF. Seager has a clear dropoff at 3B, even when his primary position is set to that, but he continues to excel at SS.

Kike, meanwhile, plays just as well at his listed position of CF as his secondary IF positions. He plays SS almost as well as Seager and in fact plays 3B better than Seager. Go figure!

Seager's ratings are all a hair above Kike's, but Kike makes rangier plays at 3B and he misses fewer of the balls that go under the glove. It's the weirdest thing, but from the eyeball test, Seager is clearly meant to play SS, not 3B, and Kike seems born to play 3B/SS/CF all at a very high level.

Has anyone else seen this kind of on-field player differentiation that seems to go beyond visible ratings? I think it's pretty cool if I'm not just imagining all this.

Just finishing my 3rd game in my Braves franchise. We won with a walk-off single. The player game was the SP Chacin and he got the Gatorade bath. It looks real good this year. The cut scene panned out with the after game interview. Helluva a job, helluva game SDS!

I saw similar with Kolten Wong vs Addison Russell in my fantasy draft franchise. Wong was playing well below his listed ratings defensively. Russell, still listed at SS at the time, played 2B better, even though this year there's the automatic penalty for playing secondary position (hate that it's just blanket but that's another discussion).

Russell made plays that Wong couldn't. He was getting to more balls, making more fluid moves with his hands/feet, and making more "effort plays" successfully. Dives Wong would miss, only knock down, or make bad throws off of became diving stops with good throws with Russell.

Maybe it would have evened out and maybe the other shoe will drop on Russell (or Wong would have straightened up), but it prompted a position battle and Wong lost based solely on the eyeball test.

                              Hot damn, that's super cool!

I know you have a discerning eye, so if you're seeing this, I trust that. Seager at 3B, even when I changed his primary position to that, was letting balls get by that should not have, and that Kike would get to. Yet his range at SS is superb.

This adds a really neat layer to the game.

I ideally wanted Seager at 3B because his power plays better there by traditional terms, but I'm going to have to be cool with lower power production from 3B and more power production from SS.

Something I am loving this year is the 3 different presentation (OSD and score bugs) packages. I actually look forward to seeing which one I get in different markets.

                                Really nice touch.
