I will always appreciate a straightforward, up front answer about these things than endless waiting. I'm cool with it, I rarely notice the faces in the first place.

Can you clarify on this? I mean even in real life you wouldn't see cleats unless they are zoomed in up close shots.

Sorry it took so long, sleep during the day, work nights. Anyway, there's a noticeable drop off in graphics quality in the gameplay graphics compared to the cutscenes. Even when gameplay is zoomed in there's still a noticeable difference to the point where all the cleats look horrible until the game switches back to the cutscenes. If you have played Madden lately, I'm surprised you haven't noticed this. Thought I'd try to explain it a little less technically than the other guy did but that's basically what I was talking about.

I don't get it how would they not work well with the head scanning tech? Couldn't they just place the mouth guard in front of the players mouth?

That's my issue with it. Head bands don't mess up 2k player faces

It's not a huge deal to me and I like that they are being transparent I was just curious as to why.

The issue is our mouths move and talk, there's a decent amount of work to make the lip guard mouth piece work with this current setup, just didn't make the cut this year.

The issue is our mouths move and talk, there's a decent amount of work to make the lip guard mouth piece work with this current setup, just didn't make the cut this year.

I believe that happened before with the mouth guards when they were in before but it didn't really matter since it was on the PS2. Thanks for the response.

They don't show the whole crowd during the game, they have less players, they have less equipment, they have a ton more memory to work with, we keep making the best of the situation in front of us while still trying to give you guys improvements, I hope you guys end up seeing the greatness we have in store for everyone this year.

This is one thing I hope makes it in. I can't stand having to take control over every coach just to edit some of the players equipment. Would be nice if we could edit every players equipment no matter what team they are on.

Lol why don't they just take a year off and use a new engine? What's their issue with using the Frostbite engine? This last gen engine isn't working anymore.

You can't say the engine doesn't work just because of sleeves and mouth guards come on now.
