You can't have a competitive mode when there are serious lag issues online. I've tweeted the devs about this numerous times and it seems like there's nothing they can do.

FNC never had lag issues like this. And what pisses me off the most is that the person that is lagging never loses connection....the entire match just stays laggy. Its the MAIN reason I put the game down.

It's P2P. Lag has nothing to do with the PS4.

The striking feels robotic. You can't even dash forward and throw a hook like in ea ufc 1 its so slow.

all I'm playing in this live event competition are runners.

Why remove the abilty of forward dash hooks if there is no run button like U3? I don't understand these changes. They made the game for runners.

So its not only the lag.

you will play guys who don't engage ever. Ruins the fun for me.

It's laggy on Xbox as well. I don't understand how I never see lag in ranked and now every match in this tournament is like fighting under water. You basically have to just button mash and hope the inputs don't lag out for a few of the strikes.

Yeah it's kinda a bummer, I'm inputting the denials right when the animation starts but it never Denys if there is any kind of lag. Forget denying clinch too. But for the most part I've had relative lag free matches.

Is your ps4 running through a power bar or plugged directly into the wall?

ZHunter and Kinetic are in a dead heat on Xbox.

On PS4, Onl1chka is in the lead, the clinch spamming bastard. I gave him one of his losses but evidently nobody else can. Sigh. I'm in like 5th place or something now. I was going to do a second run and I was doing pretty well. I was like 28-1 til I ran into Onl1chka again and he SC clinch spammed me.

Might put the game down for a while until this is fixed.

On topic, yes, lag is an issue. I agree 100%. Matchmaking was improved in ranked and I've noticed less laggy matches there, but I see plenty here

Yeah the lag has been a real bummer for the event but I also feel that the prizes and 3 lives has brought to light some of the cheap (and often stupid) mechanics that people can employ.

I'm talking the never ending cycle of lead leg body kick hit stun (maybe a L2P issue for me but it's tiring for it to be in every combo or start every combo), people fishing constantly for the leg kick hit stun that allows a free headkick, the constant spamming of sub sc to sprawl to negate damage (yes I know you can move to mount while this happens), the spamming of the sub side back control to dom side back control transition to avoid damage - I had a guy earlier who was literally on 0 stamina just spamming it (all of which I denied) so I couldn't strike from that position.

Defintly had some lag issues on xbox, shows allot more when we both have even stats and u cant deny transitions at all against certain people. Have realy enjoyed the game mode but i think they could do with looking at the top couple of players and adjusting the mechanics a little no way anyone should be able to go 50+ to 0 (even if xbox has less serious players) sheer luck means they should have been knocked out once or more.

I'm beyond frustrated with this issue. Between unplayable lag and being 'elite', and therefore only matched with strong players, I have no chance.

You know something is wrong when a player that wins 90% ranked can't go better than 5-3. So I'm 'elite' but not worthy of a freakin silver prize.

If they would fix this mode, it'd be the best mode ever in any UFC game.

It's a problem on xbox as well. Just got ky 3rd loss because i coukdtn deny the mt entrys that i knee were coming and he got up from mount like 5 times while i was denying. I raged so ****ing hard lol

I went 19-3 today.

Beat Bigzevolve and MMAGAME.

I was doing good 17-0 and then lost 2 dec in a row. My last match was against Rodpyke ****ing laggy connection lol.

I will stop playing this mode. #1 on playstation has 72-3 and he is not even good.


I also saw someone with 34-1 and he is "Semi pro" not elite? There is something wrong with matchmaking

the lag is because we are fighting people too far away.

need to fix the matchmaking in a sensible way. we dont mind waiting for a good fight.
we DO mind fighting 2 secs behind.

and it really ruins the high low block. the lag is death
