I like to have my created player at catcher because nobody else in the game is as well rounded, but I've lately found that I really like Yogi Berra against both righties and lefties. Robinson Cano has gotten a really nice boost so I now use my guy at shortstop, but against lefties I'll bring out Hanley and put my guy at 2B.
