Anyone else impressed with the level of competition ?

    Hey all ,

So with this new Live Event I think I've been completely shocked by the standard of play. I only got to play a few games yesterday morning , late last night and early this morning but I am so bloody shocked at the (high) standard of play.

When i started off it I went as i expected got to 10-0 with only one hard opponent but then it's like a complete shift in dynamic happened. Every single opponent is now a challenging match.

I know it sounds cocky but I expected a lot of easy wins with the odd hard match up given we're playing against the entire player base and there's no separation of divisions ( at least that i know off ).

Like from playing UT I'll usually lose 1 out of every 10 matches but I'm generally playing against high division players and higher OVR rated characters so I guess part of me expected to rack up the easy wins if you factored in the div 1/2/3 type of people.

    Anyway TL;DR
Well done you guys are way better at this game than i thought you'd be

    Not impressed with the cheese.

The only losses I have is decisions by runners who i thought won.

Almost all my wins were by first round or second round ko. If it goes to decision I'll most of the times lose.

Also its random against who you play.

Yesterday my 4th match was against BigZevolve #2 in ranked championship. You can get easy or harder matches after or before your 10th win. Its random.

Every fight is definitely tough, but i have to mostly agree with gucci. 90 percnt of my losses are really bad decisions and a couple of them are directly related to lag. Afroo and kenetic are literally the only 2 that beat me in a match that wasnt laging out the *** or a decision

I've had some really tough, legit fights.

A few cheese fests too...but mostly good competition and fun.

        It's definitely STRESSFUL lol

I'm sitting at 18-2 right now...but I actually submitted that score to restart. I was 18-1 and wanted to at least hit 40-3....I then lost and went 18-2 and was like, well dang, might as well just restart

Since then though I went 8-1 (LAG ;( then reset) then went 11-1 (and reset again)

Man it's freaking tough out there lol maybe I should have kept my 18-2 and fought until my 3rd loss, probably would have been able to get at least a 24 streak

Anyway, very very fun mode, very stressful, but that's part of the fun, sorta lol
