Just purchased the deluxe edition yesterday on xbox live for 36.00. I am an old school wrasslin fan so I figured that I would give it a try. Where would be a good place to start to find value in the game and also have a nice change up from RPG's and other sports games?

I'd play through the Stone Cold Show case and the Hall of Fame Showcases. Probably bring back a lot of memories. 2K does a really good job retelling the stories. -

You can try universe mode as well, if you ever wanted to run WWE and do some fantasy stuff, that's the mode for youComment

I looked at universe mode, but it has to much going on. I wonder if they are ever going to bring back the old mode where you could just pick a superstar and run through a year with him to see if you could win the belt and defend it. I guess thats what career mode is though. Ill give universe mode another go once I finish my career off. Thanks fellas.Comment

The mode that you just described can be done in Universe Mode, too. Just pick who you want and only play his/her matches.
Also, I think there can be as much or as little going on as you want. Cut all but one show if you want or have a show every night...it's up to you. There are flaws in the mode, to be sure. But I find it to be a nice way to play with several superstars rather than just one. Just my .02PSN: JWGoNDComment
