RTTF Tourney: Team Witness

Did anyone watch this game? This had to be the cheesiest offense I have ever seen a Pro-Am team run.

Let me set the picture for those who didn't see:

They ran a 5-out offense

The point guard looked like he was 6'9 and did nothing but the post rip move

If the defense didn't rotate he was free for an easy standing dunk every time

If the defense did rotate he'd just kick to a shooter with a quick jumpshot for a 3

They would also do some lead passing here and there

It was the funniest thing I have ever seen. The other team had the lead going into the 4th but, as most of you know, if you don't play perfectly against players like this the whole game you will lose. Team 5-out won by 2 in OT.

This was the funniest game of 2k Pro-Am I have ever seen.

Yup. They had the computer at the end. Gold Post Spin + post control v. No Lockdown defender = 100% success rate.

Cheesy yeah but the other team failed to make adjustments. They just kept letting Breeze bully the PG. That offensive strategy wouldn't work well against some of the better teams in the tournament. Witness should be lucky they are on the weaker side of the bracket or they would've got bounced early.

That game was really laggy for me. And now my 2k won't load past the team logo screen

I'm gonna get some popcorn and a soda and watch that game again lol.

Witness should be lucky they are on the weaker side of the bracket or they would've got bounced early.

The entire bracket looks like the weak side of the bracket.. Bunch of meta teams that destroyed bums in the qualifying rounds with zone defense and break starter.. Haven't seen a single impressive team.

The first game on PS4, Team No Limt was passing the ball all around, reversing, drive and dish. They were killing it. Only watched a little bit, but I was feeling it.

I will admit all of this is pretty exciting and really makes me want to get 100% on board with it next season.

Lets make a team for new year, Im going to be a point guard, I would be a pass first play making one, by watching the games, I feel with the right personal and chemistry, we can beat most of the teams..... Want to do it next year?

Yea, it was whack. And just lame, but the other team could have switched their SF on him and it would have helped. That's why u come to the game with multiple positions so u can make adjustments

Their PG lagged out at some point. They had a decent lead until then. I would hate to lose a money tournament that way...

they don't have the time nor the care to put together a set of rules and circumstances for lag outs.

They finished qualifying all the teams and a few days ago they widdled down the 16 to 1 per console.

Now there's 1 for Xbox 1 and 1 for PS4. They will be flown out to play each other to win it all.
