2k16 was the first wrestling game I've played since 2k took over. My question is has steel cage matches always consisted of climbing over the cage for victory only? Did they have it where you could score a pin in previous versions or no? I know that this particular style of cage match is WWE's trademark...but dang...can we get a cage match with a ref and some pins???

all of the earlier ones were the same. the only one where you can pin is in a hell in a cell

Last gen you were able to turn pins on or off in a cage match. I think that option was removed this gen, hopefully it gets added back soon.Mets/Giants/Knicks/Rangers/Manchester United/Notre Dame Football

I know in the PS2 and PS3 versions of the WWE games SVR and 2K14 you could change the settings to allow pin and submission inside of the cage. I have not played a WWE game on Xbox One or PS4 yet.NFL: Steelers

There is no ref in the ring, but you can definitely win/lose a match via pinfall inside of a steel cage in 2k16Comment

Escaping the cage needs to be more difficult, each match lasts an average of 5 minutes
