I don't think anyone thinks he's all that lol. But he'll hopefully be able to come in off the bench and run the offense like Hedo used to do.
I don't wanna be Jordan, I don't wanna be Bird or Isiah, I don't wanna be any of those guys.
I want to look in the mirror and say I did it my way.

For sure, they traded a 1st round pick for a guy who was going to be let go anyway smh. At least this draft is only a 2-man draft, otherwise it would hurt even more.

That's the best case scenario because Saric doesn't really have NBA body, so i'd put him on SF rather than PF, he struggles to defend while playing PF for Anadolu Efes when matched again likes of Pero Antic, Jan Vesely, Felipe Reyes or any at least semi-strong forward. It's so confusing for NBA scouts because this yr. prospect Nikola Jokic was really good but he wasn't really recognized on european stage but Jokic as much as he was anyonymus he have better body than Saric by miles.

Honestly I don't think Saric can be longtime NBA player, i see him returning to Europe in about few years, european bigs who are tweeners between PF & SF position without great mobility, defense or great 3pt shot just don't have place in league like NBA.

It's tough to judge Euro prospects and I don't think stats are a good way of doing so. Prime example is Ricky Rubio.

Everyone knew about him and his flashy nature, but his stats were awful and many people questions his defense.

Now he's a top 5 defending point guard and he obviously isn't a scorer but he's a very effective player overall.

Yeah, it's different than NCAA prospects for sure just take a look at Juan Carlos Navarro. Barcelona native, has more accolades than any other european player in last decade and he managed only to play 1 season for Grizzlies. I mean he could play lot more there but why being 3rd option on depth chart when you can be legend in Barcelona.
