2016 OSFM Hybrid V2

Well, the time has come! Thanks to Scott and WTNY for being my partners in crime on this project. This could not have been done so quickly without these two gentlemen cranking out team edits left, and right. Also, thanks to PhilliesFan13, xNobleEaglex, and esham313 for contributing their respective teams! I suppose that is enough rambling by me. Let’s talk about what is in this roster!

• Full equipment edits (head to toe) for each player, on each MLB Roster.
• Known corrections from V1 have been addressed (WTNY).
• Pitch edits have been added/updated (WTNY)
• This roster does NOT include recent draft picks of any kind, or any transaction updates.

As always, correction comments are encouraged, so long as they are in good taste. Since I was responsible for importing all edits to the master, there is a real possibility that a lace color or two may be wrong.

Good luck! I wish we had you willing to do this and on the team a month or so sooner, lol. Alas....

Also wanted to say that the Phillies should be good to go already. So that's one less team to worry about.

I told myself I would not give in to the temptation of equipment edits. However, I thought it would be harmless to pull up Manny Macahdo on Getty Images and compare.. 1 1/2 hours later the Orioles were complete, and this thread was born.

I did a quick once over of all the teams and I agree. The Jays, and Phils looked very well done!

I know I said I wouldn't do any more work (nobody cares, but whatever, lol), but I was always planning to do equipment for the team that I started a franchise with. Now I just need to pick a team...I will keep you posted.

In my dream world, we'd have 30 guys all take on 1 team. And in my dream, all of these guys (or ladies) had a good eye for detail.

Same here, start working Friday but after I get out @ 3pm I am free to edit for hours and normally do anyway haha making my own tweaks but would love to help out on this

I mean, it's up to BucksInSix as to how he wants to go about it. I certainly agree that, in theory, more people means quicker. But then you have to worry about quality control if some guys that volunteer don't edit as thoroughly as others...personally, I'm tapped out for formal roster editing/apps/logistics this year, but I do plan to contribute edits for the team I franchise with, informally.

But then you have to worry about quality control if some guys that volunteer don't edit as thoroughly as others...personally, I'm tapped out for formal roster editing/apps/logistics this year, but I do plan to contribute edits for the team I franchise with, informally.

I have no problem taking on the bulk of this project. What others can, or are able to contribute is more than welcomed in my opinion. I check and recheck my own work, so checking others won't add anymore time to my process. I have fresh legs so to speak, seeings how I did not partake in the Hybrid.

2016 OSFM Hybrid + Equipment Edits

I think there are a couple ways to approach this - the best IMO if you want to keep doing continual updates is what we asked for during Hybrid construction - that is either a thread per team or thread per division. Then multiple people can work on it while a couple guys do the actual edits.

Two issues I ran into while doing the Blue Jays so more or less a heads up - the Nike batting gloves don't have the options colour wise to get them perfect, and the Jays team colour 1 is still black on all throwback unis so we need to switch that stuff to light blue (I already did a chunk)

Let's do a sign up on this thread - Bucks - can you maybe keep track on the OP of who has signed up? We will be using an app called Groupme to communicate - so if you don't have it and want to help, please download it.

Tomorrow we can start getting fully organized - Bucks you have the starter roster if the Orioles are done on yours.

Lastly as noble an idea as it is to get rid of generic bats and other gear, let's be careful we don't try to reinvent the wheel here
