(Can't quote because that gif is messing up the reply page for me)

Worth pointing out that might be a different tier of juke, and the old one could still be in the game. And just because it's the same control doesn't matter - the assist setting simplifies the moves so that you don't have to use the modifiers (only the analog stick), so we've been told.

Is it me but side by side shot between the 16 and 17 gameplay the colors pop more on 17 like the helmets, etc.

Maybe this was played on Rookie.

The difference I noticed right away is the juke actually WORKED!!! Lol. M16 wouldn't let me do a quick simple left juke in that situation. I would HAVE TO do a right-left double juke to actually have the defender whiff.

I hope the team realizes that just because a back is small does not mean they are Lashawn Mccoy. Doug Martin is a small back but I don't recall him having major juke moves he's more of a one cut back and has some power too.

This is very true, I just hope everyone does not have jukes like this on every back.

It's kinda like UFC 2 were everyone has Anderson Silva like head movement even if they are slow and have terrible ratings.

So, my question to people in this thread: how would you like to see Vaccarro play that? Is there a way where it can be done better?
No problem with Vaccarro but the play side OLB & MLB played it way too soft. With Vaccarro playing it so aggressively, I have a hard time blaming difficulty level for the LB play. I guess we'll see.

Now I will say this, the runners stride looks so much better then M16. This year the runners stride is a lil longer with there legs. I like it.

The only thing I don't like is how after he gathers the pitch you can see where it transitions into the running animation and he almost just blinks into a full speed sprint with out any real sense of accelerating or getting up to speed. Just a small thing I noticed but the juke looked great and after watching a M16 video about the double juke, the fakeouts are a nice addition. It'd be cool if there were different variations of them where maybe the next time Martin pulls off the same juke but the LB gets his hand on the ball and knocks it loose.

Seeing as this clip is likely on a low difficulty setting, I won't try to critique it directly in this post and it's nice to get some actual video while waiting on more blogs.

What I do wonder though, like EAGC Azzure brought up on their radio show after the Gronk trailer was released, why marketing or whoever, chooses to use lower difficulty settings in promotional videos. I've read people say year in and year out something to the effect of "they're using it to highlight x feature" but they can do that on higher difficulty settings too. It's not like it's being aired live, they can do how ever many takes it requires to capture a sweet highlight. To illustrate my point, take that RG3 trailer from M25, which again was used as an example before, that's hype and exciting because it seems realistic. Imo, having these features shown off using higher difficulty settings, where they presumably play out in a more realistic and contextual manner, would have more of a "wow" factor.

Higher difficulty makes you less likely to get what you want in terms of wow moments, making the capture process take that much longer

If you watch #87 for Tampa he gets a good seal on the playside lb. I can't tell if it's a reaction issue or what but he was blocked. Not sure where MLB wound up

One reason that's becoming more of a factor than previous Madden's is to showcase the prompt and on-screen stuff but the fact that it could be also be displayed on a higher difficulty makes that irrelevant to your point. I'd say it's done simply because it's way easier. It's only a 17 second teaser and nothing huge marketing wise and being able to pull off back-to-back jukes like that to score would be a lot more time consuming on a higher difficulty. Not to say it couldn't or shouldn't be done but for something as small as a teaser trailer like this it makes sense from their side to make it as convenient as possible. And another thing would be that it would probably open them up to even more criticism and conclusion jumping over the moves being overpowered since they'd be likely be showcasing the same "wow" factor on a higher difficulty.
