Did they ever patch defenders leaving offensive players

Just wondering if this was ever fixed, especailly the center backing away from there assingment and going to the baseline and just standing there. Other than that i thought the game was great, but that alone killed it for me an i sold my copy along time ago. Of course with the playoffs going I've got the itch to play again. thanks in advance

The cpu defender still cannot handle the trailing PF off an inbound. Bosh, Dirk, Pau. They just walk into a wide open 3pt shot after inbounding the ball-- lol.

Nope. I don't even think they looked into it because it's just as bad now as it was in the beginning.

We discovered that if you use the defensive settings and set off-ball pressure to Deny it seems to alleviate this issue mostly.

Kind of annoying, but fixable assuming you aren't playing MyCareer

Only problem is that defenders get beat constantly by off-ball cuts because of it. At least, in my experience.

You can still set defensive settings in MyCareer. At least the pressure settings. Only as a PG though I think

This crap happens after the tip as well. The PF will run to the baseline leaving their man wide open for a 3 if they're a somewhat decent shooter. Even if you set players to play tight on their man or smother and deny they will still give them ridiculous amounts of space in MC. It's almost like the your teammates are playing a zone D even if you have it set to man. Players always go to a set spot no matter what the opposing team is doing and then they have to scramble to pick up their man.

If you get the 'On Court Coach' badge you can do it but it's really useless because they still consistently leave their man open.

Problem is the settings haven't world for a long time now. CPU leaving guys on pick and rolls is annoying. I've seen people who just pick and roll and wait for the corner guy to come open. Lets not even get into the secondary break. The computer still doesn't understand what is going on.
