The Post-Game Podcast is Going to EAPlay! (Read OP)

This year, Corey Andress and I are incredibly lucky to be able to attend EA Play. As usual, I want to include the OS community in it as a thank you.

So, what does that mean for you? Well, I want this thread to act as a hub of sorts for everything we're doing at EA Play. That means links to interviews, impressions, Q+A, videos and more.

Those links will come as we release content, but you can keep up with the show by subscribing on iTunes, following myself on Twitter, and following Corey on Twitter.

So, to kick off the proceedings, you all have the next few days to make requests. Now, I don't know exactly what we'll be able to capture/take video of/screenshot, etc but I can obviously answer specific questions about gameplay and features with hands-on access to the game between most of Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. This will likely be your last chance to find out something specific before EA Access, so take advantage of it!

    THINGS I WILL NOT ANSWER:
Ratings questions: ratings aren't going to be final at this stage of development so it's a waste to ask.

That's it. Other things should be fair game. Note that some stuff might be hard to describe/capture on the show floor, especially things like commentary. I imagine it's going to be really loud in there.

THINGS I NEED FROM YOU: if you have a specific question about a player's equipment, uniforms, etc, I need screenshots for reference. We did this for NCAA 14 a few years ago and it was really easy to check things in the game when I had a visual to compare it to. So if you want to know if a stadium addition is in the game, or something like that, screenshot it and I can check.

Remember that my time with the game will be limited as there are other games to check out and there may be lines so keep your answers very specific and be mindful of how much time the thing you're asking may take to find out. If you ask me to sim 10 years and check the depth charts for every team, there's no way I can do that. If you ask me to sim ahead to the end of the season and check the top 5 qbs by rating, I can probably do that.

If you want to check on a nano blitz you need to give me specific instructions on how to execute it, same thing with a certain play, etc etc.

When we did this for NCAA I did it in the middle of E3, which wound up being really fun but hectic as all get out. With a few days of lead-time, I can probably answer these better.

Keep in mind that I don't know if we'll be able to take screens. The safest thing to ask for is stuff I can confirm with words. Also show starts Sunday so don't expect answers before then lol

Oh and I won't be moderating this thread that much at all. I'll track it down Sunday and do the best I can so if you guys can please check other requests to see if they've been asked it would help.

Mr. Price, all I ask of you is either you or Corey take some time to play the CPU and discover if there is anything out of place that makes you scratch your head.

Things I'm looking for- CPU w/better clock management skills, ie kicking a FG at a appropriate time, making better play selections at the appropriate time.

This one you will need to wait and answer either during the CFM blog or at EA Play: Is the darn Challenge Call fixed. Making the appropriate calls the both feet in bounds or out of bounds, making the correct INT/fumble call. And for the love of Pete, can we challenge any call possible according to the rules.

          Thanks.

Ik it's doubtful you'll have enough time to do this, but if you can is it possible you can give your impressions on the NFL Draft in CFM?

This may be a small thing not a lot of people care about, but let me tell you the way I used to play Madden 10 years ago. I would set up a 32-team control franchise, get my sliders JUST RIGHT, and play all-time offense in franchise mode. It was so much fun playing with the different teams. I want to know if I can play that way again. As it stands now 32-team control is cumbersome and you can't switch sides in CFM. Just a heads up on if I can or can't play the way I want would be great.

I would just like to know if you can pick your opponent's uniform in offline CFM. I'm a simple man

For example: (me) 49ers throwbacks vs (cpu) Dallas throwbacks

Thanks for all you do, I just wanted to know in online rank matches will we be able to switch our jerseys in madden 17? The only way to do it in madden 16 was to play unranked game which was bummer, again thank you

My brother used to play the same way (100% offense) and I don't think he's bought it since the ability to do that was taken away.

I don't think it's a small thing at all just because of all the other things it would allow. Giving the ability to switch sides in-game and the pre-game menu would mean we do things like change CPU uniforms. I remember in Madden 05 when I was like 11 years in and it was the season that just passed in real life, the Super Bowl 50 year, I played the entire season with nothing but throwbacks. It would also mean we could change CPU playbooks much easier, likely would make CPUvCPU a thing again, and probably a whole multitude of things that I can't even think of viable. It might be a small thing but it would open a huge can of positive worms by making it possible.

Can you sim 10 years in CFM and look at the stats? In Madden 16 the sack numbers were really low (most teams had no player with double digit sacks) and QB stats were outreagous.
                              Thanks MrPrice.
